1st version can sell higher even though leg piece cant open fully, cause the colour is has more pearl effect than 2nd and 3rd version.

MMS119- Sarah Connor body review update
1. As was seen, the exterior torso was used for Chacha Asai, So is the internal. As with Chacha Asai's body. it has a wide range of articulation (pic below), but extreme will distort the rubber torso. more on Chacha Asai body. (Scroll below for Sheva's arms) http://www.xl-shop.com/forum/viewtopic.php...&t=6816&start=3 2. Arms articulation is identical to Sheva Alomars. I suspect identical internal mechanism. Sorely lacking swivel motion which King Leo has. Swivel for the arms are relegated to the internal ball socket within the torso (Just as with Sheva) 3. Neck connector (ball on a stick) is shorter than that on TTF.t Below is Sarah Connor doing ballet, the limited hip articulation/range restrict it from a more graceful pose. ![]() This post has been edited by BeastX: Jun 8 2010, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 8 2010, 03:30 PM) from what i know, all Hot Toys stuff are produced in limited quantities... how limited? we wont know exactly but 1 thing for sure is, with Hot Toys, once they stop the production of a particular figure then tat s it... no reissues or anythin like that (unless there are changes to the figure so tat it ll be released as a totally new figure) |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 8 2010, 03:30 PM) Ok, many people suspect HT marketing strategy as such...If they feel they figure might not do so well, they'll just throw in the tag "Limited Edition"! Take blade and wolverine. they both have that!Unlike SS, HT don't tell us the edition size they'll produce. But they are not Hasblow or Pandai who will reissue like nobody's business |

Take blade and wolverine. they both have that! exactly, i edy feel HT stuff are all actually limited edition thus i dun reli und the "Limited Edition" tag on some of the figs... even the upcomin Iron Man Mark IV if i m not mistaken. it ll make more sense to use the "Limited Edition" tag on their toy fair exclusive figs.Unlike SS, HT don't tell us the edition size they'll produce. HT likes to recycle.... Most figures uses standard TT, with only head sculpt and tailoring difference. Tailoring I bet is the major time/energy/production cost of HT, after which is painting.
For IM Mk.3 mold the recycle many colour variants, Though Mk.2 is unique. BD Mk.3 is a new figure in it's own right. T-600 most obvious milking..... I would say unique single use bodies/figures by HT are more worth it. |

Agree liquid bro. Mk IV, I think they scared people wait for MK VI. So they use their Limited Edition card! War Machine consider one design only, HT think sure sold out (I feel will sold out quickly also)
That is why if you like a particular HT better get on a pre-order! Or can gamble and see second hand market how. But usually HT prices quite stable unless you're talking about those Real Limited Stuff show Toy Fair or their older figs like AVP 1 figures and maybe Robocop. But usually HT prices quite stable unless you're talking about those Real Limited Stuff show Toy Fair or their older figs like AVP 1 figures and maybe Robocop. n yea, if u like a HT figure, PO it... or get it if its still on the shelf, once its gone... be prepared to pay goreng price for it la especially if its a popular fig from a popular movie Added on June 8, 2010, 4:57 pm QUOTE(BeastX @ Jun 8 2010, 04:45 PM) HT likes to recycle.... Tailoring I bet is the major time/energy/production cost of HT, after which is painting. well, to be fair, its the basic n simple rule of manufacturin... reuse wheneva possible... but even tho most figs use the standard TT, the head sculpts, costumes n accessories are wat usually set 1 fig apart from another so its definitely not an issue la, at least not for me.For IM Mk.3 mold the recycle many colour variants, Though Mk.2 is unique. Mk.3 and Mk.2 shares many identical parts (only a few exterior armours differed, just added inaccurate bumps to a few existing armour sculpt)... You could say ONE general mould/sculpt/design generated 3 figures for IM movie (though Gun Metal is not in the movie). Mk.2 & BD Mk.3 shares a head sculpt. All share hands and light up-head. |
