Need some advise from u guys, I got special offer from my usual dealer of below 2 options, which 1 should I get value for money

Samsung

40" UA40D5000 - RM 2,300 Panel type - AC02
37" UA37D5000 - RM 1,900 Panel type - CN02

The only drawback for me getting the 37" is the panel of SMVA, does it really makes a difference? Pls advise....

Sorry if asked before but need recommendation. Have shopped around a ton but narrowed it down to these two. It's just a small LCD, 32" for upstairs .. between Sharp Aquous 450M (LC-32L450M) and Philips 3000 Series (32PFL3605S/98). Both RM1,099 at ESH, Giant.

Sharp LC-32L450M
x Not Full HD (Resolution: 1,366 x 768)
Audio Output Power: 10W x 2
HDMI x 3
USB plays movies, music and pictures

Philips 32PFL3605S/98
Full HD (Resolution: 1920x1080p)
x Audio Output power (RMS): 8W x 2
x HDMI x 2
x USB plays only music and pictures

I like the picture on the Sharp and the speakers seem to sound better, as am not going to get a HTS or ext speaker for this. The Philips looks sleeker and it's full HD for the same price. From research on these threads maybe full HD is not all that important on 32".

Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

As a general rule of thumb, that would be fair to say. In any event, the most likely input for a 1080p source would be a blu-ray disc (movie), but at that size, it would not make a significant difference.

Can I know does S-MVA differs alot from A-MVA?

Need to finalize me decision today, my only drawback from getting the 37" is the CN02 panel. which is a S-MVA.

Thanks for the advice. But already got the Philips this evening, Sanyo no stock except white color. It's good so far except for the remote. By the way ESH still has great service. Even though I'm not buying monster TV the salesman was very nice and helpful.

hi guys, plan to get myself 42 Full HD Plasma...however i dont like watching stretchy SD and would rather view it in normal 4:3 aspect ratio...
My question is, will the black bands on the left/right side cause burn mark or IR effect later on? notworthy.gif

i'm thinking of buying a LCD/LED tv for my bedroom. i am relatively new about all these LCD/LED/PLASMA unsure.gif
since the room is really small, i'm looking between 22inch to 26inch. any recommendations?
i came across with this model, Sharp Aquos LC22LE520M. Full HD1080P with LED backlight.
what about LG LED 22LV2130 or TOSHIBA 24PB1E REGZA?

Obviously between the 2, the U series has better resolution, color reproduction and moving picture resolution. Any specific question?
