huh. you guys temp so high? my mas temp 65c no matter graphic card or processor... even after a heavy gaming... 65c max...

are there any softwares that can control the fan speed of the Studio XPS 1640? almico's speedfan 4.40 doesn't seem to work...

but the problem is the copper thingy is soldered to the processor. very hard to take out

I tried asking acer which told me to send to service centre to do it.. They dont allow us to do it on our own within warranty period.

So I assume other companies would have the same policy. Warranty void if heatsink has been tampered with.

Thank you! The Dell Studio XPS 16 in white colour indeed looks gorgeous ... Actually, I more prefer white colour laptop .... currently my Dell Inspiron 1420 also white in colour ... But the battery "hole" above the keyboard is the only thing that I'm not really like ... prefer hidden battery compartment under the laptop ...

keep battery there while use ur lappy lo..coz i think if u plug in the adapter, it will stop charging the battery once the batt is full..some ppl say keep the battery there while playing laptop is better, wonder why

O.I.C ... I thought the battery will "overcharged" if we plug it in while we are using the AC adapter at the same time? It will not spoil the battery? For instance, the battery life span.
