Hey -kytz-, i have a Dell Studio XPS 1640 & i want to get a notebook cooler too
As for me, i wanna get Zalman, but their price is expensive.
CM U2's movable twin fans seem cool as you can insert your laptop inside the cooler and put inside your bag. In other words, it is quite portable. However, i am not sure whether it fits 15.6 Inch Wide Screen laptop well although its official Cooler Master website said can be "Up to 17 inch" ?

Heard a lot of good reviews about NC2000 over at amazon But it's a tad too pricey- RM200+ But i'll try to get my dad to get this for me

85C max is consider ok as it can handle heat till 120C for each CPU..but for safety measure, its better to be below 90C which is yours is 85C..

Yes, if the temp reached 100C is still ok because usually the temp can handle till 120C of high temp...but for it to statically peaked at 90C~100C when playing games would surely damaged the GPU & also others part of the laptop .. Preferable is peaked at 80C~90C while gaming...
