Just an update, with my 'lightweight' modification, I get about 2 hours of browsing time, in dGPU mode! Its not bad actually, I even multitask a bit by opening multiple Adobe Reader and my usual more-than-10-page tabbed browsing using Firefox

why not just go to the shop and ask for replacement?

for those who have webcam prob, just uninstall the driver inside device manager first, and without restarting the laptop, install the driver from the asus website. and restart.

if this does not fix it, keep repeating uninstall the driver, and install the other driver on the website, (there are 2 driver there to choose from).

mine works correctly now.

I think now they got stock. Today i found out 1 of Asus distri already received their stock for k40ab and k50ab model. the price is slightly higher due to this model using turion rm75 processor.

Nice, but its only slightly faster than 2.1GHz QL-64. But I think it'll save more power on the go as Turion have 3 power planes as compared to only 2 on QL Athlons

Will update (the price) once i got the pricelist from distributor.

But wat can i say is the cost (me as supplier) is almost rm100 different from previous k40ab (with athlon Q65) processor.

But it still comes with asus bag and mouse.

I think got place selling it already. Im the one who late receive notification from them(distri).hehe.quite shocked today due to i order it to my customer and end up the cost is higher than the older one

basically.. yes.. at the the fan is affect by the bios itself.. so.. there wont be any difference..

and guys.. i've seen this model sold in pc fair KL.. its priced at rm2099..

well.. IMO worth buying.. as ram supports up to 800Mhz.. well.. CPU performance not much diff thou. ram is the thing
