Anyone know that some distributor stop bring in k40ab already and k50ab will be sell at the same price wit k40ab?

Last week i went to 1 of Asus distri, looking for k40ab for my customer. They claimed that there is no more k40ab.

U mean k50ab rite?

I think now they got stock. Today i found out 1 of Asus distri already received their stock for k40ab and k50ab model. the price is slightly higher due to this model using turion rm75 processor.

Will snap the pic for reference.

i think thats the only diff with previous model besides the sticker..hehe

Sorry,im not dare to post the price since im not sure about RSP yet. (due to respect the retailers)

Will update (the price) once i got the pricelist from distributor.

But wat can i say is the cost (me as supplier) is almost rm100 different from previous k40ab (with athlon Q65) processor.

But it still comes with asus bag and mouse.

I think got place selling it already. Im the one who late receive notification from them(distri).hehe.quite shocked today due to i order it to my customer and end up the cost is higher than the older one

currently im downloading all updated driver for that k40ab.will post the latest index later bro.

Just want to check wit u all, do u have Battery Calibration menu in ur BIOS in previous version of K40AB?

@Hico,i try to get the spec from my supplier regarding k50ab spec.

I checked already bro. Confirmed that K50AB new spec also come wit Turion processor with RSPrice is RM2199 which mean extra rm100 than K40AB RSPrice.

For reference:
In Malaysia, they got 2 model, a SNA65 and SNA95 (Slim Version).
SNA65 going to cost u around rm100 - rm150.
SNA95 going to cost u around rm180 - rm200.

P/s: The one that in ur link is SNA95 model

Just took another stock today. Find out that price for new K40AB (AMD RM75) now back to old price. RSP price is at rm1999.

Can try Digital Mall,Petaling Jaya.

My shop/showroom in Kota Damansara also will got stock for it. But maybe arrive around next week.

NOTE: This lappy sold like hot cake. Last week bring in 3 units. Clear in 2 days time.
