Its the latest ASUS driver that giving a problem to one that have tested,im using the 2nd latest 1 & Switching Mode is fine.

LOl suddenly changed my plan today to go to the pc fair..... No cut price for Lenovo G450 and Asus K40ab.... But got promotion for EVERNEW company for asus k40ab( Pay RM19 for 5in1 accs, 3rd year warranty and bluetooth mouse)

3rd year warranty is good enough for me to drool wth,go for it!

is this normal temp for my K40ab when browsing?
bcoz when i play HAWX my everest alert that GPU diode temp above 97C,

yes that is normal temperature,even im just go browsing can get around 70c,do not worry about it.

is this the sound driver u means?I could only found this sound driver in the asus website..

anyone facibg blue screen of death for this lappy K50AB ... the error code is 0X0000007F when install ativirus system ... it says is ram faulty but i check memteset 86 not found any error .. is new laptop byt the way ... after unistall ok but the picture acreen like whe ni open properties for device manager it will not come out straight away but icon by icon like lag.. but is new clean OS .. but i using windows xp pro is it got any related problem for os windows xp for this ??

with a bluetooth mouse some more.. 3rd year warranty.. tat shud be around rm200 already..

tired to trouble shoot this lappy .. asus K series Sucks tomolo have to back lowyat there check .... they say k series is a cheap version for asus brand... never trust cheap version type ..

how much u guys bought for this laptop? and how cheap k40ab can go for? and wht freebies they gave to u all? going to grab one 2moro at pc fair klcc

Phailed,so u really like an ACER or DELL with highest rate to breakdown than ASUS having the less problem in all brand??U phailed right there.

hdd size makes the price differ..
k40ab n k50ab are in the same price..

few months back
came with 250gb hdd RM1999
came with 320gb hdd RM2099 (this is the price i bought k40ab)

last month i bought another k50ab
came with 320gb @ RM1950 (RM1999 depends on seller..)

btw.. the cpu also been replaced from QL-64 to QL-65..
some also no built-in gpu like my k50ab..

so if u guys want to seek the lappy.. compare the price/spec/freebies which offer a great bargain..

seriously, whats are the issues your having? nothing much to troubleshoot wut, unless u do not know what ur doing urself

end user problem or soft/hardware problem? dont make urself like a fool tomorrow..

i dont think rm2k is cheap for a laptop. I think this laptop comes with great price:performance ratio.

next time do you research first before deciding to buy a lappy. You may google or yahoo first bout this laptop or ask around in lowyat.net.

for your earlier post, i'd say,

1) BSOD happens when the software and hardware is conflict. patching it with updates usually solve the problem. I dont use any antivirus but i have 3rd party FW installed.

2) you better off with vista or win7.... theres alot of user here that are happy with k40ab...im one of them

3) I trust my understanding/judgement over products that im about to purchase

4) U give up easily
