i rather they further reduce the price rather than freebies.. in tight budget nw... this laptop is something unexpected as my current laptop go to heaven d T_T

btw. i never tried undervolt. going to try it now. works?? i tot for sufing only?

Because u install the grapgic driver wrongly,try use driver from ASUS website(at 1st page got link).


undervolt doesnt take ur performance if u set it correctly.

btw,in gaming mode with fullspeed fan doesnt even reach 60c.

which OS are u on? if ur on xp, VGA switching doesn't work. u hav to run it @ dGPU mode

i on vista ultimate 32bit...

This is the second time i face this problem. Any new update over the Asus graphic driver will cause blank screen afterwards.
Thats what happen when i updated to latest graphics driver. Had to switch back to dGPU mode now. I think most having same problem with me.

I guess the latest Asus ati driver will work on fresh intalled windows utilising Power Xpress without any problem.

i have the same prob too with the new driver..seems that i need to set it to dgpu to get 4570..

so, is it the time right for me to update bios to eliminate the problem of k40ab like jiji sound when shut down and screen remains black when back from sleep mode?
does the bios 213 for k40ab still has problem?
do i need to reformat upon the bios is being reflash?

the jiji sound from your laptop speaker because you didnt install any sound driver,try install SRS or sound driver from ASUS website.
i dont have any problem with my sleep mode althought im using stock/factory version of bios

the asus official driver is quite good in express mode switching, what new driver ur referring to? official ATI?

Anyone planning in going to pc fair tomorrow?? If yes can help me check if asus launch new laptop wif almost same price like k40ab?? Btw help me check the price of k40ab and freebies if possible..... Appreciate helpful information....
