I was wondering how to use the accelerometer to play games, is there any settings that we can configure?

After trying out the newest version of mobile shell 3.5.2 I just found out that Omnia do not have support for open GL and G sensor. So no fancy animations on omnia.

what u mean by no G sensor support?
i think u didnt install the file in your phone.

i suggest kuanchai latest rom,but you have to manually download all the application you need,because it is ultralite rom,with better memory capacity and kinetic scrolling.
i currently use the sector rom,but his latest rom are kinda not resposive on the menu screen.im thinking to change back to kuanchai rom but when i think about wan to install all the application by myself,im will gone crazy...

I am using Shokka9 6.5 v23 ROM. so far is nice after i settle those sound problem.

hey guys. Using a new rom now, on... OCK's rom. Very very sensitive to the touch, before this was using steffi's rom ,wasnt sensitive.

I wonder if different rom comes with different touch sensitivity ?

My current rom is great, 120mb+ of storage, and programs has about 50mb

it was some crack sound but after hard reset,it working fine.
seem like something I installed was not compatible with the sound.
but i am using lite ROM because dun like the M2D.

I am the other way back from you, i unable to download kuanchai and sector ROM so using shokka9 ROM....lol
really hard for malaysia connection to download from those website.
shokka9 ROM got a felow uploaded it into a special ftp space, easier to download.

1. OCK rom is Wm6.5? it default come with Honeycomb menu? with M2d?
2. steffi's ROM got any specific comment?

because I am using shokka9 6.5 G ROM v23 , which:
1. without phone part in the ROM and use or default phone part, reduce the risk of brick the phone function
2. WM6.5 with honeycomb menu and Chome (for Lite version)
3. Opera broswer is removed from the ROM
4. total storage 151.84 mb, after install some program it still have 103.71mb

I am looking for a more stable and batterry save ROM. currently i felt the shokka9 ROM still drain battery faster than the official 6.1 ROM

Yeah shokka's rom ( used it before ) drained my batt quite abit, only last...3/4 of a day.

Yeah ock's rom is win 6.5.3, build 23093. Using the DXIA5 version.

Comes with the honeycomb, and BIGGER icons than shokkas , and also comes in titanium version and M2D ( Still figuring out how to install themes for the m2d)

Battery life , better than shokkas I think, yesterday at I was using my gps, and last night I checked before going to sleep, it was 70%. And now the batt is at 50%(the battery bar on the top of the screen shows the percentage). I could say this would go about one and a half days, maybe 2 , depending on your usage. There's a smart lock app in this phone, not really sure of what its supposed to do but i dont think shokkas rom had it ?

Hmm. Another thing which bugged me was the photos and videos tab. An error came out (Albumsearcher.exe could not be found.) Read through the thread, noone seemed to comment about that. Had it fixed the other day, somehow it came back. The weather tab is more beautiful Looks like in TF3D, compared to shokkas.

Comm manager, tools which has favorite hackings and showcase . Favorite hackings is something like.. advanced config.

But the main point in this rom is the sensitivity. It's almost like a new phone already, a light tap would do. Other than that there's no bugs encountered so far (touchwood)

Not much to say about steffi's rom, only drawback is the sensitivity. It's..more of a press rather than a tap ,and I think I might damage the phone pressing it :S.

whic file need to install? I'm on official ROM. Have been combing modaco for solutions. nothing work so far. From spb forum, they just ask i900 owners to buy newer phones

If I'm not mistaken G Sensor is only for HTC phones, and yeah openGL isn't on our omnia. I think even the omnia II doesn't have it.

i manage to play all Gsensor games on my phone. include OMNIA Teeter and Ferrari GT HD.

I not sure about spb shell because i dun like it, it drain battery like pouring water~lol~

Somemore u can use the sepcial sensor program to use ur phone lie SE phone, shake to change song, flip to off screen... that all can configure.

for me i dun like M2D personally because i find out infinitine today can work more than it and more beautiful design.
and it save battery. but it does not support WM6.5 yet~lol~
6.5.3 the task bar also at the bottom one?
smart lock app mean the phone willlock when no use it?

Hmm lemme try the smart lock. YUP! it locks when the screen dims.There's multiple options for locking it . great stuff.

Hello, fellow forumers. I have some questions about the OMNIA.

1) What's the latest official ROM?
2) On the OMNIA firmware upgrading site, how do I know what ROM ver. that's being offered before downloading it?
3) How old is the DXHG3 ROM?
4) Is it true that there's no official WM6.5 upgrade for the OMNIA? Source?
5) Is there a way to run the FM radio without attaching the wired headset? Could attaching the data cable, 3.5mm adaptor, etc. work?
6) Is there a way to listen the FM radio from the speaker / Bluetooth headset instead of through the wired headset?
7) How much does a new housing cost?
8) Is there any crystal/silicon case that has a transparent (flip) cover protecting the screen?
