do anyone tried to use omnia as modem?
i am trying to use omnia as modem to enable my computer with internet but seems like can`t work
anyone can help me?

nope...i never set it to power safe mode....at first i also though that setting disturbing me but i unable it also the same...besides setting>power>wifi power safe still got any place can junction for wifi? if no then what is my problems anyone?

my titanium weather can work perfectly.

titanium u all talking about is a theme or ROM? if a theme then i will like to try it since i saw alot ppl give positif comment

i think titanium only fpr wm6.5 aswell

may i know after u upgraded ur ROM to shokka9 wm6.5, will the battery drain out very fast? will the system faster or even slower? or nth change inside just the interface change only?

Need help. My phone has been lagging since yesterday, and I mean serious lag. Before this everything was a-okay!
The lower back part of the phone seems to be hot ,as if i I turned on the gps. I have nothing turned on the task manager, and yet somethings taking my memory as if Im using 256mb on Vista @_@

my invi sheild on my omnia peel off already at certain part especially at the curve...
think to get off the IS and be naked......
and want to find another screen protector for my omnia..
any suggestion for screen protector???

Hm.. looks like the manilla 2d in the rom is the culprit. will reflash back to dzia5, dont like the rom's way of managing camera files (no more dscxx)

Hi all Omnia user, I would like to ask some questions, interested to get it.
1. Is the IE in this phone support all the website like IE in computer? (Like Flash and Java site)
2. Is it very slow and hang frequently?
3. Touch screen sentitivity.
4. Ring and ear volume loud enough?

personally i dun think the ROM is run faster
just the internal memory is huge, so can load more program.
interfere is new, not only nice but have some new function.

Battery is still acceptable, 2 -3 day if not heavy use. heavy use need charge daily.

the bad is: finger mouse not function anymore. and the speanker some time will have crashes sound when play music, after restart will solve it.

1. all function well because u can use flash 3.1 in IE. java i dun think it work in IE, but java game can run by Jblend. why java? already got windows taht can use dozen of crazy program.
2. after using OMNIA for 1 year, I never encounter those problem. In my experience of PDA and PDA phone, it is the best ever I have.
3. Depend on which phone u compare. but average it is still nice after u patch it by the sensitivity reg edit.
4. Sound for me is nice enough and lous enough.

OMNIA, personally i think is a good try for newbies using Window Mobile because it got lot of function to play.

Fense, yes. I'm still new in Winmo. I need Java for IE to view my CCTV. Which is not support in my Ipod touch, N82 and N78.

anybody knows how much to get a new battery for the omnia?

The camera works fine, its just that the filing system isnt like the original rom, the original rom names the camera files by SNC0001 ,etc.

Ah...So it the same fense that've posted in the dark side.

For the speaker cracking sound, try to disable the SRS WOW.

anyone got a clue on how much RM for a screen replacement. my omnia kindda lag in touch & some part need extra touch & some other are not responded to touch, this might cause by prev phone drop..

thanks omnian... Does omnia come with vibrate n melody? Can the message tone customiseable? Because most samsung doesn't support them.
