Since you were the one who put all the efforts in building the FP and know TS wants to overwrite that part so ofcoz laa have to ask you first maa..  tongue.gif

its ok la. Let TS have the freedom to take control lor just i got no chance to improve it further only. I have alot of ideas just lack of time to perform it.

At least the frontpage town looks much better compare to last time. Even N97 thread stealing the idea from this thread.

installed garmin 3days ago,

tried it twice, functional, but a little bit late to get first signal.

secondly, if i put it in my pocket, it will turn off itself sad.gif

maybe too tight / power button too sensitive.

anybody else got the same prob?

refer to Frontpage for more info.

Added on October 20, 2009, 2:01 amOh yea i just learned that if Garmin have 3bars its capable to get 2D

If 4 bars able to get 3D

and i also learned that how gps works. It just send a signal up and calculate how long it reaches the satelitte and thats how it also tracks your location. How long for the signal from your phone reaches the satelitte and back

u mean the garmin .50 and v31 ? i'm using that too ... seems a bit slower compared to old v30. used to b able to get good lock with i-gps in less than 1min ..esp on the highway and not city (with buildings etc)... open road... takes less than 1min .. but nowadays seems with v31.. taking at least 5min -10min
