hey after installing Fring... seems to screw up my connection to wireless... always hang... wonder y ? fring taking over ??

don't really hav to do this step. it's kinda auto as long as you set the I-gps and disable the rest from your main application menu under "location" and positioning server

i'm sure u'll have some sort of other complains with the new phone too it's part of getting new technology... to be the forerunner there's a price to pay loh ...


anyways i'm quite happy with my 5800. did gav me a few hickups but nothing severe..

really i can turn on garmin whole way fr johor to kl... battery still v high .. dun makan tat much ... more than 75% left...

shudnt' kong so fast i thnk... i also seldom get calls.. can last at least 3days ... but normally after 2days i go charge lah .. dun wanna take risk later on 3rd day kena heavy calls no batt...

not sure is that the contributing factor.. coz i thought batteries nowadays are built with fail-safe protection.. meaning it won't overcharge but then just probably the heat of charging is not good for battery.. might get too hot... but not sure that problem exists too nowadays..

which one of the maps for garmin that has the speedtrap warning ?

i used to hav it when the shop installed for me... after upgrading myself to the latest.. dunno y now it doesn't alert me anymore...s aved me a few times fr kena saman .. haha

garminXT latest is .50 right ? the .60 still not official yet ?

yah need just a theme editor.. u can edit yourself..

damn i can't for the love of God remember where i saw in forum.. somebody posted a link for a simple editor for s60v5 theme.... coz normally i dun bother with graphis (lazy).. just find a nice theme and just download it straight ..haha

turn off as in whole phone power off ? what i kena is if put into pocket... signal lost.. need to put it with clear pathway to get good signal...

really ? coz i bookmarked and subscribed to it... if few days never chk.. will b pages n pages to go thru ..haha

haha.. i mean sometimes we navigate in car .. then reach coffee shop . just put in pocket for a bit... then wanan continue journey but coz lost of signal gotat wait another 10min to get signal again (btw using i-gps)

yah i figured tat... but not a big deal... if urgently need a signal just enable the a-gps for a bit.. haha...

u mean the garmin .50 and v31 ? i'm using that too ... seems a bit slower compared to old v30. used to b able to get good lock with i-gps in less than 1min ..esp on the highway and not city (with buildings etc)... open road... takes less than 1min .. but nowadays seems with v31.. taking at least 5min -10min

haha i'm using carmount too ... easier to look n navigate rather put on the lap

y dun just bring to NC... coz eventually watever DIY solutions u use, u'll not b satisfied and since under warranty.. might as well right ?
