in kl areas such as sungei wang, times square or mid vally, amex is not such a big problems, even a small stall oso accept amex

Er...A lot of small shops in Mid Valley still do not accept Amex. Retail shops in The Gardens, on the other hand, have no problems accepting Amex.

Any idea how to view Amex statement in maybank2u? I registered in Amex official website but it states we can only view it in maybank2u for our transaction. I login my maybank acc I dun find anything duh

I think there is a view statement option there, the other day I had a browse and managed to view my statement

Once you are in..go to Accounts & Banking > Click On Credit Cards >

On the left menu you can see Account Details & Statements

On top you can see
* Account Details
* M2U history
* Request hardcopy statement
* Transaction history

I have saving and current acc as well.....but my AMEX appear under Credit Card column

Sometimes it is the other way round. My Amex account appeared in M2U first before I received the card.

Amex Gold cc has now included Isetan Supermarket in the 5x MR points list. I am surprised to learn that my spending at Isetan Suria KLCC last month actually gave me 5x MR points.

In order to double confirm this, I checked my old statement last year and noticed that Amex Gold cc did not give me 5x MR points for expenses in Isetan Supermarket done in December last year.

I guess expenses at Jusco Supermarket via Amex Gold cc are now also entitled to 5x MR points.

Amex Gold CC at Jusco 1 Utama supermarket always 5x, but 2x for department store.

Jusco Departmental Store does not sell groceries so it does not fall under the 5x MR category, therefore 15% cash back is given. Meanhwile, purchases made in Jusco Supermarket at One Utama and Mid Valley are not entitled to 15% cash back.
