Hmnn can't really understand what they are talking about & the comparison pics.. Which is which? Sigma on top or what?

Hehe wondering whether they hv done any comparison after few firmware updates by both WDTV & AC Ryan?

There are huge diff in PQ when I bought the AC Ryan new & after installing the beta firmware. The beta firmwar (Now official release dy since y'day) is much better in quality...darker & vivid colour.

not the color issue.. it's the resolution...

Thjat's the problem they din mentioned which one is POHD & which one WDTV liao..From the arguement probably the top wan AC Ryan??
Anyway, I think they ought to re-do the review bcos there's big differences in the AC Ryan after the multiple firmware updates since Dec 2009..

Viewnet is selling both A.C. Ryan POHD and Mede8er at the same price of RM599

no need to mention also know la.. the one with the purple block in the upper picture is realtek lor..

But my POHD no such distortion wor....crystal clear...haha...my eyes fool me again kua

that's because you are used to the realtek by now..

plug in the WDTV live or other sigma based chip immediately you can see the difference... few fellas here have both units, difference is noticeably clear..

Hmnnn like dat regretted liao bcos those seller told me dun buy WDTV bcos kenot play RMvb punya..me still got lotsa rmvb eggs ..hehe

What to regret? Buy another sigma based players..... solve the problem. I have both WDTV and Xtreamer, but WDTV already 'simpan in cabinet' for 2 months.

Don't worry, it also depends on which TV you match it with. As long as it looks good on your TV you shoudn't regret

I guess if you ok with it then nothing to regret.. (unless like Matrix movie, can awake and can choose red or blue pill)

I have both 6500 and 6600, can't see the different on picture quality. But will notice zigzag on the sharp for projection more than 60". This is to say, below 60", really can't see the different. Those fellas see the different may be they are not compare apple to apple and the setup setting also will cause the different. Have they mentioned the setup and brand to use?

tested 300A, 34H at Mpyw's place with KURO and also his dune (sigma). realtek is noticably softer.. and same feeling as the realtek H10 and H16 units..
