i think all things are the same.. no matter what gadget u buy, no matter how high end it is, and no matter how attractive it is, u'll get used to it sooner or later..
the most important thing to me is that so far this phone has served me well.. no matter in normal phone usage, multimedia playback or camera function..
besides that, it is also nice to see other people "hoo hah-ying" when they see the 12.1MP sign at the back of the phone.. =)

My first impression is somewhat boring mainly coz of the 'plain black' theme..yucks man.
Cant SE put some better default theme that vibrant enough?
I dunno bout the preloaded theme in satio but 'plain black' is really a let down.
For u that quite adjusted to the satio, do u find the lack of kinetic scrolling a bother?
and, the sound output, is really dissapointing. Or is it because of the preloaded songs?

i think what u mean as plain black should be the wallpaper of the main menu right..? in this case, change the wallpaper into a nice one than everything should be nice enough.. =)

about the kinetic scrolling, i know it would be good if satio has kinetic scrolling in everything.. but as far as i'm concern, it has kinetic scrolling in the places where it is needed, for example in photo, music, video scrolling where there are lots of files for u to scroll through.. as for the rest of the menu's, though it would really be good if kinetic scrolling is available, it doesn't bother me too much for now since the scroll bar is quite easy to use.. let's hope that kinetic scrolling in everything would be released in the upcoming firmware update..

there are people who said that the sound output is not loud enough, but for my case, since i like to listen to music using earphones, this isn't an issue to me as well.. as long as the ringtone is loud enough for me, i'm happy with it.. btw, i believe soon there will be some hacks to make the output volume louder..

As for me, Satio is a bit dissapointment like my previous X1. Camera quality is just so so compared with my Samsung HD. Another dissapointment is my Telco Maxis, the setting for Satio damn char. Wifi is fine and screen a bit small for me. Music sound so so only. For those who going to buy Satio, think twice.

after reading all comments here, i felt i'm making a right decission to opt for 3gs (but need to wait..damn) instead of satio. when i play with satio at shop, it js felt a bit improvement over my current 5800. although the thickness between satio n 5800 almost same, but holding 5800 is much more comfortable (maybe becoz sharp edges on the left and right side).

anyway, the red satio really2 gorgeous . even my father said it looks nice.

yeah, i do agree that the sound output of the Satio could do better honestly, the battery again only lasts me a day, my phone only hang once me twice but since then it has been going like a charm,the default themes wise yeah man it pretty plain and boring! but heck ive downloaded themes and wallpapers to bling up my phone, now it hanging low~ lol...


and as like someone mentioned here its not only the Satio infact any device that you buy the "fun" factor only last till until up to a point where you started to get used to the device,

i mean how hard can it be not to get excited over a new device rite? I think as for the comparison between Satio and the other phones, in the end its what you want to buy, if you think that it makes you satisfied by getting a 3GS or Pixon then by all means go ahead and get it, its your hard worked money, i feel that its not fair to put this phone down by claiming it buggy and slow and stuff, it deserves a fair crack of the whip, Nokia built N-Series on Symbian, Samsung got a headstart on SE by releasing the Innov8 on Symbian therefore they had the chance to identify the quirks and bugs of OS while working on their hardware, im no fanboy but yes ill rather use any phones than Nokia, ive been using SE for quite sometime and might as well i stick with them. I wouldnt have been satisfied any bit by getting something else..it was this or bust

Yes it has bugs and other niggling problems but really the only issue hardware wise i can see by SE is the battery, boo to 1000MAH! most of the reported problems online are with the OS itself, and im sure that these issue's will be sooner or later will be fixed by SE with their firmware updates..

Im looking to sell this phone as well, why? im gonna get the X3 so any interested parties please let me know phone is absolutely scratchless, and it comes together with a Mirror SP and Epikcase which ive ordered with AskarPerang

For satio, when u set a wallpaper, does the wallpaper continue into every sub menu?
Or it stays only at the main screen? I really do hate the yucky 'plain black' theme

if it's the same with 5800, u need to press the power button once just like when u wanna change profile, and there will be option to remove memory card.

Press the power button then the menu should pop out, scroll down to bottom select remove memory card

are you using WI-FI Carol? if yes then its normal...coz even in normal laptops it overheats if you use wifi

if u want the sub menu's 2 change, then just download a theme that suits ur taste.. =)

with the new firmware the Satio is much much faster...but they havent tested the standby theme yet,,its in youtube the video of some guys testing the new fw
