the pics taken by satio looks nice. i wonder how it will fare with pixon12.

with these 2 price at same price, satio have the upper hand due to smartphone capabilities.
hope next FW by SE will customized s60v5 more.

yeah garmin can be installed. saw the few pics showing garmin in the link that provided by ms. panasonic.
hope later on, SE will eliminate the use of scroll bar n implement kinetic scrolling through all the menus (including classic s60v5's menu). at least it will be more consistent.

SE can do it coz nokia also do it with their n97 mini n current n97 also will get the same treatment.

SE rachael also gonna be delay. it's SE habit and style of marketing.

anyway regarding RAM of Satio, many website shown it has 256mb ram. perhaps the 1st prototype with Idou name only has 128mb ram.

X2 also still not available yet, thus i dont think X3 will be announce and available within short while. it's so not SE style.

SE always like that maa, announce and delay.
anyway if the X3 really come out within schedule, then it shud be great.
wonder how the x3 performance compare to Moto Sholes

perhaps x3 will / should hv better UI experience
the one good plus for s60v5 it support Garmin while adroid n maemo still not (or dont good navigation software)

haha. SE always like that. no wonder their market share reduce and always lost lots of money. their marketing strategy make they lost potential customers.

after getting used with my not so responsive 5800's screen, i can said, i type faster using 5800 than touchless screen phone (normal keypad). thus it js matter of "familiarization".

anyway, non-smartphone = boring phone. excited at 1st, then it will getting boring faster that smartphone.

for me, non smartphone doesnt deserve that high price especially with so many smartphones on market. we should demand non-smartphone it to be cheaper for user's benefit.

maybe its better u test it by urself once its available. diff people dff judgement.
anyway, u r using 5800 rite, 5800's startup time & shot-2-shot also around that figure also. u can try it out.

i wonder how n86 perform better than satio coz from gsmarena's review, pixon12 can outperform n86's image quality and where as pixon12 and satio pretty much on par (base on their review)

Satio GSMArena's Review

for newly launch phones is like that. last time when i bought my 5800, i went to 2 nokia official kiosk, one quote 1499, another one quote 1599. lastly i bought from normal shop but Avaxx ori one at 1390.

how about u try to ask the ori set Satio from normal shop. not from Sony center or Sony style.

im not sure about KL/selangor area. coz im staying in penang. i bought at shop which i and my family used to bought from them. anyway, i checked the IMEI must be same between the box and the phone, warranty card and the authorized sticker.

i prefer to buy ori authorized phones, but not from the nokia or sony center itself. coz their price normally higher.

the application not compatible messages are common for s60v5. even 5800 also encountered that. js continue it. btw i thought u previously using 5800, thus should familiar with it

after reading all comments here, i felt i'm making a right decission to opt for 3gs (but need to wait..damn) instead of satio. when i play with satio at shop, it js felt a bit improvement over my current 5800. although the thickness between satio n 5800 almost same, but holding 5800 is much more comfortable (maybe becoz sharp edges on the left and right side).

anyway, the red satio really2 gorgeous . even my father said it looks nice.
