sometimes gsmarena news cant be trusted completely, like their recent post on rachael... the brochure is fake and they cant even tell that it's fake.
anyway, you should go to esato or semc blog or se-blog for more accurate news on SE. rachael will be announced on nov 3, but available in Q1 2010.

The Sony Ericsson Satio has been pulled from sale in the UK at the Carphone Warehouse. The reason for the recall is being cited as software issues. an all too common problem for Sony Ericsson handsets over the past year or two. Interestingly though Carphone Warehouse is continuing to sell the silver variant of the handset, it's only the black version that has been withdrawn from sale. There is as yet no word of whether this recall affects other retailers in the UK or indeed other retailers in other countries. Sony Ericsson themselves will not be keen on having their current flagship handset withdrawn from sale, especially so close to the Christmas shopping period. Sony Ericsson have been trying to put their previous history of buggy and defective handsets behind them and this latest episode certainly won't help those efforts.

that is the only proud part of satio so far..despite the buggy issues..hehe
only the last food pic , i change to macro mode only. others i just snap.

for me..to lock it, i use the on/off button.
unlock only use the slide button.

yeah u should..since we still have the on off button to lock screen..

upgraded to new firmware.

problem fixed.

- no more hang ( so far )
- faster speed when goin tru menus
- theme problem solved.

happy with it.

NEW bug in NEW firmware.

- when sms-ing, i pressed * for the symbol menu. It took 30secs to pop up.

anybody knows how the FREE movies n games n mtv works?

i downloaded 1 game, 2 mtv, 1 movie..and i havent get any of them running.

1. download to pc
2. transfer to Satio
3. unlock n activated ( activation key will be sent to mobile phone)
4. wait and wait...NOTHING happened.
5. click back the files. it says Its activated. Code 100.
6. end.

new bug or old bug or is it like that???!!!!

When finish charging,
it will BEEP..
and lights turn green..
but after a while..it beep again..lights turn red..and charge again..
seconds later..it beep again..turn green..
it goes on and on until i unplug...haha

supposedly turn green n stays green right?

lets just rest a while from all the buggy issues and enjoy a night shot taken with the superb 12.1MP camera.
To me its more like a camera with bluetooth and phone functions..

i think i found a new bug on the new firmware,
before this it was fine.

- files sending tru bluetooth, 1/10 times it will failed and need to resend.

btw, can i actually mark a few photo and send tru bluetooth under the media menu? or can i view photos in thumbnail form rather than flipping 1 by 1..?
