may i know where to email for checking the status??
mine booked at MEP @ taman connaught, 1 week now
the MEP promised 2weeks to 1 month...
if more than 1 month, I can get back my deposit.

I booked mine at Orange Mobile too same date as Urban..Hotlink plan too..
I called Orange and asked them my booking status and they said Hotlink user will need to wait for a min of 2-3months..I was quiet upset cause when i booked mine they said will need to wait around min 1months+..I complained this to maxis through email and the customer care service replied me and say they will give me a call tomorrow to talk to me on this matter..

Yeap thats the problem with them... and you know when the girl who took my booking called me explain the situation i request to talk to the supervisor and the girl being smart not covering the phone i heard the supervisor shouting and saying tell him every customer also have to wait.. don't want wait ask him go other place book la..

When the girl come back to me i straight away ask for the supervisor name and i told her i heard what he said over there and i want to bring this issue up to maxis. She straight away say will talk to her boss and end up the supervisor call me and talk to me.

Thanks for the info bro..Will let Maxis know tomorrow about this when they give me a call and I make sure we(prepaid plan users) get our phone ASAP..

din even know the demand for iphone still very strong...just called up those CS...he told me whole world shortage iphone 3gs....sure or not?

I just found out the pavillion maxis center number...not sure whether it works or not but no harm trying...+60172005140

Sorry for the late update. I got my iuphone 16Gb White on Saturday itself . The Maxis at Pavillion called me about 3 hours later after i left their store.

They mentioned that they will have iphone stocks coming in till 8th November .. for some international fashion week thingy.. So stop asking question and head there now.. if they dont have stock for 16GB ( thats what they say) just leave ur name and number with them and they will call you back. They need the sales anyway..

i think it makes business sense to them for giving priority to postpaid users 1st but in the 1st place they shouldn't have make a commitment on the delivery date for prepaid users.

if i booked other place and head to pavilion leave my name and number, do i need rm200 deposit for that??

someone mention before ... u need book in maxis outlet then only can go maxis pavilion collect, MEP can't ... measn maxis pavilion can sell to you but not deduct the RM200 ... should be the database not sync between maxis and MEP

There is no more iphone shortage now. Last time got now no more. Maxis just want to make the phone "look like" selling hot cakes to make ppl take intrest in the phone. Cempaka school student get their phone on the spot so is some more the company who giving out iphone for free when u purchase a car or something like that.

I agree. They should have never put the hotlink plan up there. Maxis sucks. Hope Apple will see it and wont allow Maxis to carry their phone anymore. Maybe give it to Celcom or Digi. Celcom have no problem on handling Blackbarry. Y does maxis have problem handling Iphone. Dont make sense

i think no matter who u hand it to its gonna be the same.. blackberry is not as demanding as iphone were.

The trend/pattern i think it should be a central distribution department to distribute the iphones to the branches. For example, i booked on 15 Oct @ TTDI branch, some forumers booked same day but @ KLCC and Sunway had gotten their phone. IF its equally distributed i should have gotten my phone d.

ANd how come pavillion has 400 units.. but i still havent gotten my sets..
I think is some fishy business going on behind.. sigh

because iphone is much more demand then blackberry ... so maxis comes out a lot marketing plan to maximise the profit ...

and i think apple also create the shortage news ... last time before the 3gs launch, maxis already taken booking orders, do they so confident the phone will create a lot demand then supply ?
