Thanks to all forumers for the info on Pavillion Maxis Store.

I registered for 32Gig White at Maxis KLCC on 20 Oct and stumbled upon the postings in this forum on Saturday. I wanted to go on Sunday but my finance minister had comitted to a few Deepavali open house. So today I called up Maxis and asked if I can pick my order up. Was told the normal skru message even after I referred to the stories in this forum. Fed up, I walked to Pavillion from my office at 11am and upon reaching Maxis Center, I asked the guy if they have available unit and the guy said yes for 32gig model. Then I asked if I can pick up the unit even though I registered at KLCC, he said yes again. Gave my CC and receipt to the guy to process my order. By 12pm the transaction was over and I have a spanking new 32gig white 3GS.

My KLCC deposit will be returned to me in a form of credit to my account within 7 days. I brought along my office mate and he too converted from KLCC to Pavillion. He upgraded his 16gig order to 32 gig.

Added on October 26, 2009, 2:18 pmAs of 12 noon today, Maxis Pavillion still have available unit for the 32 gig iPhone. Not sure of the actual amount, when I asked the guy, he said 'ada banyak lagi'

do update us after maxis get back to u.
if u managed to get the iphone, other prepaid users who booked from there can take the same move

Made a big fuss with the supervisor of Orange mobile and he don't seem to be able to do anything. He even said that he willing to give me back my RM200 deposit if I want to. I told him what's the point of it, you wasted my one month just like that and I say I will bring this up to maxis since you said is the center that couldn't give you the stock. He say yes he also recommend me to do that.

I just don't like they accept the booking in the first place when they can't give hotlink users the phone.

16gb 3gs only got stock on tues at pavillion maxis?

No update for today yet. The maxis guy said he will call me tomorrow as he has lodge a report regarding my issue and they are checking on it. Hope can get something out from this.

I called and all they keep saying that maxis don't give them stock for hotlink package.

i really regret booking prepaid plan... already waited 56Days....
sent 15 emails and yet they still not delivering the phones to the shop....
maxis told me they still waiting approval for the prepaid plan.... wth is tat??

That's what i told orange mobile .. if they keep saying 1 month + and more means you expect customer to wait up to half a year also can la.. then i told them if you cant give the stock just don't accept the prepaid booking in the first place.

yupz...wanna give my old iphone 3g for my chick while i upgrade to 3gs....

Go to Maxis better...standard waiting period now is 30-45 days....depends on states and locations.... good luck!

Now go pavilion can terus get phone! I think only got 32GB
