While i pre-book another iPhone 3GS hoping to get it tomorrow at pavilion but it turns out this not so good news

the 400 iphone thing was told by the pavillion maxis store assistant manager...
she said as long as sign any contract can get the iphone on the spot and its first come first serve basis.
i am getting 2 units from there tomolo.

lemme get tis straight, basically if u have placed a booking for an iphone, u can try ur luck getting one at pavillion regardless of WHERE u originally booked it?!!!!!!! holy cow!!!!!! i definitely gonna get my ass over to pavillion at once and try my luck then.

why not hunt down to convention center. Go Mobile fair there. There must be plenty of iphone there since maxis is the main sponsor.

Corporate users will have priority, if not we will jump telco. almost 1/4 of the employees using iPhone, so it's kinda norm here. Best part is one of my colleague got his iPhone in 4 days and the telco called him up the next couple of days to arrange for a delivery of the phone ! Even after telling them he have received it, they called again in another 2 days and tell him his phone is ready for delivery. Told him don't reject the phone if they called the 3rd time.

Maxis 3g in iPhone speed is ok now? Maxis 3g used to be suck for other mobile devices. Hope Digi and Celcom can enter iPhone business soon.



I will prefer to get a netbook for running mobile apps unless any company sponsored iPhone for me.

I am sorry if my question is out of topic here. I am a digi user, if I were to buy maxis iphone from other forumers here, any issues when coming to warranty claims? I heard Maxis will require the "original" owner to be there for warranty claim.

Another option will be subscribing to i-data plan. Can i just subscribe to the data plan to purchase iphone, without switching my phone line to Maxis? Like getting a sim card for data alone?

you need to switch to value plan before u can subscribe i-data plan.
You cant use prepaid to subsribe it
