After much Googling and reviews read, I called up Machines and changed my order to a White guess it looks more Mac'ish in white, less visible smudges and scratches etc.......guess the virginal white got to me in the end!

Pavilion stock are limited everyday. I am also one of the lucky one that managed to walk in to get one 16GB.

Their staff are telling different story for this iPhone. I got mine on Friday around 3pm. Thursday i went there and the promoter told me need to wait 45 days max. So when i line up at the counter to book my 16 GB, i been told now got promotion and everyday got limited stock. So went there on Friday to try my luck and lucky me i managed to get one.

I can attest to that. I was one of the first few on Saturday morning, at the Pavilion Maxis centre. I snagged myself a 16GB black iPhone. They have limited stock and the Maxis staff told me that people who have placed bookings at Maxis Centres (MEP not allowed) can head on down there to collect.

So HURRY guys!

Hmmm this just makes waiting hopefully not 45 days for mine I ordered on sat night just the more painful ;p what's going on at Maxis Pavilion makes me wonder if those units being sold like this are actually units which have been pre-booked but they selling it to walk-ins to create a marketing stirr to get customers rushing to their store. If this is the case, pity the people who pre-booked at that store

I think this is not honest business and not the right way. I mean how come you can walk in and buy but I cannot walk in to buy. They put there stock available on their iPhone poster.

I came from very far place, drive all the way to Pavillion, used 59minutes for parking and had to pay RM8 and didn't get any iPhone.

How can Maxis sekejap say got stock, sekejap wanna sell, sekejap dowan to sell. I remembered I told one guy that I want to buy the iPhone, he said only got 16GB left if want, I wanted 32GB.. then I moved aside to consider whether can live with the 16GB or not, then I went to line up at another person, and he said 16GB is for those reserved only.

So now I think back, one guy is selling the 16GB, while another guy saying no more stock..

Then I asked whether can I reserve or book. They told me cannot do booking there and have to go to other Maxis center to do booking. Ok, I am at a Maxis center but I must go to another maxis center to do booking.

Then I asked when is the 32GB stock coming, they dunno, to know, call 123 customer service and reserve the iPhone, then they will write my name on the iPhone box itself.

Ok now means I can reserve, by calling 123. Ok, so I called 123 immediately, they told me they are not able to know which shop got stock, they will call the shop tht I prefer to go to. I stated Pavillion, the girl called Pavillion and said no one pickup.

Ok, I am at Pavillion Maxis center, called 123, then Maxis customer service called Paviilion center and no one pickup. The customer service girl called me back and said sorry, she don't know which shop got stock, I have to call 123 again to ask them to call Pavillion again tomolo.

Well, if Pavillion Maxis center themselves dunno they have stock or not, calling 123 won't help also ma. So how?

If you not able to sell to walk-in customer, dun do such promotion. Damn it... I actually went twice to pavillion already, expensive parking ok!

i dont really understand u guys.....so meaning that u walk-in to buy with ur hotlink prepaid? or u already have the postpaid plan?
i m currently a digi user but i dont want sign up for postpaid...haiz...

for your case, u can still get the iphone and retain your existing number in postpaid

I believe they bought it with the postpaid plan not prepaid

Huh?deposit can't be refund?but I thought some forumers here manage to claim back their deposit if they cancal it?

got my phone today..waited for 3 weeks..booked at the Gardens..

For those who want the iphone so badly maybe u better get it from garage and seem a lot of trader are selling it without plan attached.

wanna ask bout the Maxis year end offer for free iphone 3gs..

it mention for existing customer, must upgrade to value plus 500 + iData 3 (RM99 for 3GB) x 24 months contract...

was wondering if the value plus 500 is also a 24 month contract or only the iData3??

u cant la. Unless the maxis center berproblem. If they allow u to take bak ur deposit means maxis side there usally got fault.

i booked my 3gs at MEP, is it possible for me call up maxis customer care to inquire about my status or what batch im in? i got a official Maxis MEP receipt no.

I book at MEP but I managed to get my iphone 3gs form pavilion.
1st they told me no stock, then i asked another guy, they said got stock.
what to say?? diff ppl diff story -.-
