it doesn't go through a VPN
it's slower through a VPN anyway unless u ask for a unique IP that u use it yourself only

webUI should be the same as as seedbox...

utorrent webUI is 1 of the methods/software to do it

seedbox is the general term

direct download???
it is troublesome cuz files are breakdown into many small parts
and if 1 part is corrupted then whole download is gone

benefit of torrents is:
1) u get the whole file
2) private trackers, especially for hd movies
3) no validity period, even if there is 1 seeder only u can download
4) downloading from ftp is same as direct download, without the need of premium account to download consistently fast (as long as your isp routing to the dedicated server is good, in many cases USA)

yalor..i also prefer BT-ing but these days, if public tracker, the speed is just shakehead.gif...i only use torrent to download files that larger than 2GB nod.gif..

xiong, don't go for european servers especially france...
many of our ISP don't have good/consistent routing to there
USA is the best cuz all the ISP will have good routing to there but the cost is more expensive...
