Yup,agree with astria...Adamo is way overpriced...maybe you can opt for Aspire Timeline Series lor..much more cheaper and the performance is thumbup.gif (as i already tested the unit)

Just create another partition will do, and install Ubuntu into that new partition..then you are ready to dual-boot Ubuntu/Win nod.gif..no need much space,8GB can also...

full functioning ubuntu takes only 3,2gb, and since it can read and write windows partition, u can share the files on windows...so just a small part need to be taken from ur ori vista hdd

u will stuck with 9600, not the intel card ... so ur bios now only recognised 9600 and not the intels. in that way, it will affect ur battery life for sure, since 9600 is more demanding ...

no no no...i mean if i install ubuntu without flasing bios..or will the x-server just crach like before this?
