Lets use the example that ranceed did.

If u use the black card as a 2nd shutter, basically u agak agak where the lights gonna be? then cover up say... half the lens?

This article is about an event in a local Community Centre and during the event, the Emcee said to some children on the stage that they all (the children) must study hard, if not they will work as a photographer next time (pointing at the official photographer).

This incident made the official photographer sad and so he reported this to the press.

I feel that, people should really think before they talk, and some more is an event with many people listening to what you are talking about. I think that Emcee left his brain at home...

mmm there are many photographer are making more then an engineer... so, kids, DONT STUDY okay? become  photographer! lol

guys.. what else can be used to open a300 raw? i'm gonna try shooting in raw. im currently using photoshop cs3. where can i get sony raw software? my stuffs/cd mostly left in msia.

Going Bangkok for a whole week for work next week, wonder what to shoot there...

btw, i've read about the price comparison.. the flashes between sony, nikon n canon... sony is the cheapest.. idk why ppl keep saying sony is EXPENSIVE. lol

bro, u need to read up and experiment with exposure.

1. F1.8 is too wide open for board day light! use F8 if directly under the sun, unless u are under a shade/roof, then F1.8 might do (but i advise F2.8) ur shutter speed cant compasate the over exposure at the max speed (1/2000, or 1/4000)

2. flash is auto mode, when they detect u have too much sunlight from the WHOLE picture, the flash will fire at minimum powweerrr, so u need to do some read up and play around with manual flash

3. with diffusal.... =.= WRONGGGGG. it totally use for indoor to stop ugly shadow, and when u uses iso400 and above. but u can use iso400 at boarddaylight!

4. how to get bokeh but not over expose, for wide open lenses like F1.4-F2.8 for daylight shooting, ur shutter cant move faster then 1/2000 for entry level, or even for mid level, 1/4000 might not be fast enough! what u need is a +2 ND filter to cut down the light going into ur lens! (but warning! ur flash might not be strong enough to light up after using ND filter!)

SOME are expensive...not all.. Sony has the cheapest FF camera..yummy..but if u can afford the N and C's FF...it is better 

Sony is pretty nice for beginners to start off.

its hard not to be a fanboy. When u see the cameras 'technically'...C and N FF have better noise reduction and image quality...especially the 5d mark2...and also they have better body quality. D300 onwards are splash proof (written in spec sheet)...even covered with snow also no problem.

about the beginner DSLR...i still think sony is good. Wireless flash is nice..and the grip is comfortable compared to d60 and 1000d.

agreed. infact, alphabeta, u are looking backward, u never know what sony next step will be.... they do have the leading HD Camcorder tech, masssive funding, hunting for graphic-software company to buy out and harvest thier tech... etc and they own a huge R&D sensor factory that made sensor for both sony and nikons. they are rich.
