How's the performance of AKG K330? I love the looks.. But clueless on SQ

i could only comment on bijou and soundmagic since ive use and still using them...
i use to have bijou 3 and the bass was full but it lack of details...
then i switch to bijou 4.. which is a bright sounding IEM after i recable it and to my likings....

then i tried the pl21 which is for me really balance iems, the bass and the mids a sufficient enuff to make ur head shaking to tunes...

reccomend me a headset
1.common usage mp3 and computer
2.true surround sound or virtual but good
3.light or mediumly heavy
4.got mic duh
5.circumaural and noise cancelling
6.budget 300-500
7.for gaming + music but need to be pinpoint

can any one recommnd me on a headphone? am using it for my guitar amp..the ones yg tak pecah2 bila on soundtrack skali..hmm..budget is around 100-150rm...anyone?

IMO AKG stuff are good but not worth the price. however some of them (e.g. 142 HD) looks really nice though ;P good build quality

anyway im here cuz i hope u guys can help me out a lil bit. my 3 year old Sennheiser PX100 now is in bad condition...the foam pads gets off frequently, the pads at the band is getting torn off... but the sound quality is still good. Im hoping to get a new headphone to replace it, but cant seem to decide on one.

- price less than rm300
- can buy from local shop (so i can test it out myself)
- has to be better (or same quality) as the PX100
- portable. i'll be bringing this to the library a lot
- no need noise cancelling n such. i prefer open cans (i know i just mentioned library..haha)
- comfortable, of course ;p

i mostly listen to metal music and im a drummer so naturally i like my headphones to reproduce drum tracks good. not to say i only want good bass...i'd prefer to miss out on the highs instead of the lows, but mids are my main concern

to be honest i didnt have much opportunity to survey myself, and the only portable cans i can find is the Audio Technica FC700. i think its hard for me to compare it with the PX100 at the shop (its noisy), so i'd appreciate it if any of you can share ur comments. thx!

The price is quite cheap at 180 pounds/ ~RM1K, but when you factor in (1) Shipping, and (2) Potential Customs Tax it may end up being way more than local prices. Plus local has the added advantage of local 2 years warranty, which alone almost justifies its slightly higher price tag.

I checked bluetin but the prices are only slightly cheaper than local. When you add shipping it'll be more expensive...

Any other good sources? I'm interested too

in terms of steepness of price... i do think that buying from davis would be a good choice... i also find ie8 at ebay selling for a cheap price (around usd 269) but really... its kindda freaky because its too darn cheap...

or anyone willing to let go their price possession...??? i hardly doubt that lol!
