Oh okay. But what do u mean by balanced?
And what about EarPollution? Are they any good? Their prices seem not bad too.

I saw the Denon and i liked the design but i want something more outlandish in terms of color but mild in terms of design (i know i m a confused SOB)

I am at the UK, anyone with experience for cheap but fun brands?

my minimum design would look something like the zaggaudio buds, the Beats by Dre buds are awesome but too expensive.

the Koss is ok but the design not to my taste. I not a audiophile, just a normal listener that is affected by design more than anything. however, if there is a clear tone, and strong bass (not overbearingly so), then i would want it...

i m currently using the Sony RM99(price, not model as i dunno the model number) in ears. i also have Soundmagic PL20 i think (the one with the black n silver buds) and it pales in comparison to the Sony

Jaben also has branches at Jakarta, Surabaya, Beijing and Holland (I guess?). You can visit them when you are free....

Thinking of either getting a se210, s-jays or ue super fi 3/4.

Which has better bass without compromising the overall sound quality?

Senn, hmmm, CX300 or 400 may be, but there're a lot of counterfeit Senn in the market, beware of it when purchasing.

Hi, can anyone recommend me a good pair of open-air earphones?

BUDGET= not more than RM200

reason why=

- for portability
- comfort (IMO in-ear earphones are uncomfortable in the long run, and greater risk for eardrum damage with high volumes due to pressurization effect)
- and lastly sound quality (im guessin there arent many high-end open-air earphones as compared to in-ear earphones, so i will not get the best of sound quality there, but thats what my full-sized heaphones are for... just lookin for one with decent sound quality, as i cannot stand listening to crappy bass)

60% is actually a lot ady xD you're talking about ur CK100 or the baby Monster? For me I always fixed the volume around 20-30%(around the "skip backward" icon, nvr go beyond the "play" icon on my iPhone . Anyway, it depends on the volume that you set it at, you can get hearing prob wearing headphone that is worse than wearing IEM if you listen to it at high volume as well, the noise isolation in IEM blocks out environment noise so you tend to listen to music at lower volume than earbuds.

60% the max...
usually around 50% for eterna (since eterna u have to crank it up to enjoy it...)
CK100= 30% at my room/quiet place and 45%+- for a bit noisy place
Baby Stax= 12 o'clock or less .. sometimes more (mind u that baby stax stock sound is a bit soft... i have to crank it up to full volume to make it scream to my ears.... )
PL21= 40% volume
apple stock buds = 50%-60% as the sound leaks alot...
philips earbuds= same as apple stock buds

Haha yea, that's why I was asking you which IEM you're referring to tongue.gif I remembered last time my Klipsch IEM, I can listen to them at 60% with no prob at all, but on Senn and UE, no way unless I'm trying to get myself deaf.

true..good point... but I also think the downside of the IEM is that the sound would be directly blasted to the eardrums through the vaccum created by the isolation, as compared to open-air earphones where there is some extent of dispersion... but thats my 2 cents la.. I cannot imagine the effects of big thumping bass to my ears using an IEM... :S... so, any recomendations for the old school open-air earphones? biggrin.gif

looking for a good bluetooth headphone or earphone?

my budget would be around 200 ringgit (if it is too low i am willing to add to it but this is the money i have in my wallet right now)

sound quality is not very important to me, i prefer style and compared to better sound.

i notice people often say what kind of songs they listen to on this forum, i listen to very little rap and hip hop a lot of rock
like paramore and evanescence as well as linkin park and within temptation(symphonic rock band)

i hope i can have suggestions!

thank you in advance

looking for portable basshead+isolating headphones. Budget less than RM400. Am looking at something like ES7 or WS50 in terms of size or smaller.
