Hi need suggestion for a new iem. I previously used creative aurvana, but it's now broken..So i'm looking for a new, better one with budget around/abitmore than aurvana.(rm500 max)

The only thing that i'm not satisfied with aurvana is how sensitive it is (when touch my shirt etc) so an iem that is less sensitive is a plus point. Iem with flight adapter is a very minor plus point..

Usage : music from mp3s/videos on laptop. Preferred brand shure/ue/AT/and maybe bose

I just need a shortlist of iems so i have a reference of which i can do further research. Any suggestion is appreciated so just fire away tongue.gif

1. Audio Technica FC700
2. Koss Ksc75
3. Koss Portapro
4. Beyerdynamics DT231
5. Audio Technica SQ5
6. Audio Technica FW3
7. Audio Technica ON3
8. Audio Technica M30 ( not portable but great SQ )

all are portable headphones... except DT231... but it's well within ur budget...

thanks for the recommendation. but which one is closest to the px100? i dont really prefer px100 is because it is an 'open' headphone and i scare will distract the public, but then i like the quality of the bass and the voice clarity.. cry.gif can some1 help me to narrow down the choices here as im really new to these audio stuffs..thanks

i prefer treble clarity over bass. Of course bass needs to be there, but it doesnt have to be excessive

Yea, the foldable headphone rite? If I'm not mistaken she brought it to the TT fortnight ago, but the headphone is too small for giant head person like me xD

u can check out head-fi's review... more to SQ...

=) most of them said it beats PX100 & PX200 hands down..

for u to really decide which is good for u is to self-audition both headphone... =)

or u can get recabled PcWork Ksc75 which is good clip on headphone but it's a open headphone so u can expect sound leaks...

SQ = sound quality
IEM = in ear monitor earphones ( or ear canal earphones which is inserting ur earphones into ur ears... cucuk telinga? well u can GUARANTEED GREAT sound isolation & no sound leak wat so ever... )

Yea but at the cost of mid high range clarity and soundstage. At least in the IEMs I've tested I've never really gotten satisfied.

Pros and cons for each type of different cans and phones. Auditioning is your best bet. happy.gifv
