QUOTE(GenkiGal @ Dec 26 2009, 06:07 PM) i have 1..it's xmas present for my furkid ^^ Is ur one battery operated? why jason said his toro bite the cable?it's helpful enough to set 4 meal time a day for her so that we do not need to rush back home to feed her while we were in the midst of shopping ^^ and it's good to let her has her meals more frequent in smaller portion for easy digestion while we are away in the daytime for work. i got mine from SummerPet, PJ..cost me around RM200++..it's for long term use, thus personally i think it's worth it. saw ppl selling in lowyat too..but not sure it's new or used.. Check this out |

Plus, you mentioned that you didn't want to crop the ears for it to be standing up...then why crop it at all? I'm sure you got Rex because you fell in love with him at the time and you knew how he looked like then. Why change it now?Added on December 29, 2009, 10:22 pmcan see the pics i uploaded?? trying~~ http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1759...id=252492141994 |

Unless you plan to put him through dog show competitions, I don't see a need to crop the ears. Ear cropping is a long and painful process, you will need to tend to him for almost 2 weeks before the wound heals (imagine about 10 stitches on one side of the ear). Furthermore, you'll need to look for an expert surgeon and a show dog guru to ensure that the ear crop is done properly, else it will look very odd and spoil the looks of the MS.Added on December 29, 2009, 10:22 pmcan see the pics i uploaded?? trying~~ http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1759...id=252492141994 BTW, cute dog, have never seen a full black MS before. |

Even if you plan to show the dog, it is not a requirement to crop the ears for show. Shows accept also natural ears. But like you said, it is a painful and long process for something to 'look nice' instead of practicality.BTW, cute dog, have never seen a full black MS before. Puppies actually need quite a bit of food because they are growing. It's best to feed 3-4 times a day for pups between 2-6 months old (small amounts though), then slowly decrease the frequency (but up the amount) of the food to twice a day up to 1 year old. After that you can just continue at 2 times a day or 1 time a day, depending on your preference.Check the packaging on the food to see the recommended amounts for pups. Using that amount (which is usually for per day, unless stated) divide it into 3-4 times for each meal and you should get the amount to feed your pup each time. But since the packaging is only recommended, you would also need to monitor your pup to see if he/she is getting enough food. Check not only the weight, but the feel of the pup on the sides...if he/she is growing well, you would only need to apply a little bit of pressure to feel the ribs. If by just touching the sides a little and you can feel the ribs, then he/she is too thin (and you need to up the amount of food). If you can't feel the ribs at all after applying a little pressure, he/she is getting chubby (and you need to decrease the amount of food). Hope that helps you a little!
