What about getting summoned when you are NOT there?

Can we ask the cops to provide a picture (or some sort of evidence) that it was really your car and not some cop mistake?

Yea. I got one last year for traffic obstruction in Penang. Which my car has only driven in KL/Selangor....
Can settle in PJ? I dont want to go to Penang just to settle a summons which I know very well I nvr drove my car there.

no .. if u wan picture .. u must go to the place where u kena shoot.. last time i also kena at batu pahat.. ask for picture.. they said ask me to go batu pahat take.. i said wtf!!! the polis said is like tat 1.. paid the farking summon and face out..

Cops are all rotten. Just want to make life hard for us citizens.

Hi..anyone know whether the letter i received (i did speeding in year 2009, saman ekor) considered "Coutersy reminder" or warning, or summon?

i got saman and i want to write to the police for photo, should i sent the letter to the ketua trafik in bukit aman? the sick thing about this polis is that they did not give us an option to buy a photo evident from them . Can't they just post the photo on the internet and track like pos laju or pos ekspress. Collected so much money still cannot improve the system.

Added on September 14, 2010, 9:25 pmthere were two occasion , police stop me on the highway and wanted to saman me for speeding. In the end, i ask them which route and where the speed trap was, he let me go . wat the fark???

nope......heard fr news last week

I checked online (Myeg) and found a speeding summon originated from Meran, Pahang. The time of speeding was 5am. I checked with my family members and confirmed none of us has ever traveled to that place, let alone on that wee hours. In fact that vehicle seldom travels out station.

I went to Police Station Kajang to request for a photo. The officer told me that the photo (evidence) is only available in Meran Police Station. The other option would be to make a police report, followed by writing a letter to Meran Police Station to make an appeal.

With the efficiency of our police officers, I doubt writing a letter would solve the problem as my best bet would be the letter ended in a trash bin.

I'm wondering if there's any way for me to obtain the photo without traveling to Meran? Any advice is much appreciated.
