QUOTE(jind86 @ Oct 14 2009, 12:57 PM) depends on what kind of leather shoes you're looking for, loafers can be leather as well.. slim cut pants go well with narrow shoes.. yes dress shoes are fine with jeans.. maybe you'd wanna go for oxfords or wing-tips, or loafers which are more casual.. dark brown is pretty versitile.. oxfords are fine for short ppl, just go for narrower tips and ones which don't look too heavy for your feet.. ohh ok thanks ^^ gonna go try them out... btw for wing-tips, what brand you would suggest? any recommend? The Isetan in KLCC is having some 'huge sales' for shoes. I saw Allen Edmonds going for RM 800 from the original price of RM 2700.

Hi
I am currently looking for 1-2 pairs of formal working shoes. One with lace and another slip on.
Is there any decent discount for any shoes of the decent brands, the lines of Bally or Church at this point of time?
Any other suggestions will be greatly welcomed too.
Thank you for your time in advance!

Just get yourself to P.Lal. Best fixed price in the universe. I'll be there this afternoon to blow some bonus money.

Looks good from the site I googled upon.
Might swing by too at some point of time this weekend.
*Edit: Thanks Kotmj for the recommendation.

Cheany's. RM 699.
I wanted a Loake 758 (RM 621), but it wasn't so hot. Last a bit boxy, and the nap not as luxurious as the Cheany's.
Three suede Cheany's in my size, and one in tobacco was very, very nice. However, this chocolate has shorter nap and more distinct brouging, and simply looks more formal, which is an advantage because I need dual-use shoes.
