suede...my mr hares are so difficult to maintain i wear them very rarely...i have suede brushes...suede cleaners...protectors...erasers...but some stains are just too difficult to remove to the extent that i have to use white vinegar + water combo...works like magic...but i wonder if it will spoil the suede after many trials?

QUOTE(Superkian @ Oct 27 2012, 01:50 PM) Hi there, Recently i just bought a pair of valentino rudy shoe, but i dont know how to take care of it. Is this shoe category as suede or nubuck or canvas or sneaker or something else? The white color is leather meanwhile the blue color is some kind of fabric(i have no idea what is the fabric, ). So i have been looking for shoe horn and shoe tree. I'm not sure whether the shoe horn is necessary or not but im sure shoe tree is a must. I am seeking all sifu advice on how to take care of this shoe. Thanks. its a pair of sneakers....its not necessary for u to use a shoe tree on it...besides...there is a sneaker thread....if its suede or nubuck, avoid water, buy water repellant sprays. Suede or nubuck is leather not fabric. shoe horn is recommended for all shoes, when you wear shoes use a shoe horn. Shoe tree is recommended for dress shoes, sneakers unnecessary. QUOTE(Superkian @ Oct 27 2012, 02:15 PM) Alright, thanks. im still a little bit confuse with the suede and nubuck. Im not sure whether buy leather shoes care or suede/nubuck shoes care in the market. Very worry if i apply wrong product. just wikipedia or google suede or nubuck, leather shoe care products are for leather shoes (conditioners etc.), they should be used on the leather parts of your shoes only, for suede parts use suede care. Google is your best source for information.

QUOTE(Superkian @ Oct 27 2012, 02:22 PM) already search from the google, but cant feel the suede or nubuck with my hand. as for my shoe, the blue color is got little bit "bulu" come out 1. Looking for kiwi, lexol website now. it doesn't matter if its nubuck or suede...they need pretty much the same care, same products....who knows it might just be fabric made to look like suede? nubuck and suede require similar care, that's why when you buy water repellant for nubuck and suede, they almost always say "nubuck/suede protector"...they are just different layers of leather...one from the inside another from the outside
