I'm wearing about a size bigger. Planning the purchase in a week or so, depending on whether I can get away to shop / back in town.

that type of c&j are you looking to get?

one of the uk websites offers free shipping worldwide i think. good only if you know your exact fit and size.

yeah it has disappeared. it used to be on the handgrade page but was for their entire c&j stock (including benchgrade). maybe that means they have received new stock.

they told me they bring in a container once a year, which is why if your size is not available they cannot order just for you.

Florsheims 700-800 in msia? Are you shitting me.. I've seen 3-4 Florsheim shops here, and I'm one of their online members, so I always get the 10-15% offers usually once every season.

AUD120 only leh. After discount, sometimes 90 only leh.

@Grimm

I kid you not brother. Was errm....spending time at Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya and bumped into a store of theirs. Went in, looked around, inspected their goods and their average prices. I left in a hurry (actually, I fled in horror).

black pants with brown shoes don't look right to me. black pants only with black shoes, or if i am feeling adventurous, burgundy.

i think thomas chan has outlets in bv2 and bsc. wasn't too impressed by his shoes.

I had a pair of 8-eyelet nubuck boots made at a shop called King's in Campbell Complex a couple of years ago. Dunno if the shop's still around but I still wear the boots occassionally.

Polishing my shoes is pretty low down in the priority list, but with the quality waxes I've bought and the good technique I've learnt over the years the results are always satisfying. When I actually get around to it. The trick to polishing black captoes (every man needs a pair) is to finish with several coats of oxblood/bordeaux.
