agreed~always add the word (Negotiable) next to it. You never know as there might be a job with a high potential of career advancement and travelling opportunities even though the pay is peanuts.

I think my situation now is low potential of career advancement
BUT higher opportunities travelling around~ & as you said the pay is really Peanuts! (little)

Remark: Peanuts = small (what I understood)

Not to say exactly YES. It depends whether the company capability to pay the employee. Some company may offer their employee only RM3.5k which wider scope than you. Perhaps, you should state your company status in the industry(small, medium, MNC & etc). This varies of company size pay their employee differ although you doing the same job.

A MNC company capable to offer a sales & marketing coordinator with RM3.4k (only diploma + existing abt 8 years working exp). A below average company may only offer maximum 2.8k for the same position.

Hi gal, I am a PSC holder, it seems your salary is way too low.

With your qualification, you can go around RM2 to RM2.5k in banking industry, for junior level (less than 3 years working experience).
Refer to this link: http://myjobstreet-beta.jobstreet.com/care...lary-report.php

Although you are working in Penang, RM1.5k is similar for a fresh grad in entertainment line.

Hello,

Trying to extract some truth here.
To those working in subsurface oil and gas, was wondering whats the starting pay for graduate engineers. I'm looking specifically at salary for subsurface engineers (shell, exxon, talisman, murphy) or service company engineers(slb, hal, baker, wft) only.ie petroleum engineering background. Thanks very much!
