I'm paid much lower compared to my degree friends, which made me so bummed everyday, since I masuk industry not quite suit my degree ..in Tawau..
but i have a big hole in my resume which I'm reparing, so i have to cope..  ..but still..

but working with c&s consultants are generally like that... salary is not very good...anyway i'm just asking as i am curious how much employers in kl are willing to pay for someone at my level... maybe significantly higher, or about the same...?

Since talking to seniority decides the salary paid (level), how is the company judge on the seniority of profession? according to working years or how many projects/cases involved then?
Some jobs they can honored us with "great title of the job" (could be very senior level/ professional), but the paid still the same n the workload is higher! Wat for?!

Point number 1, you should really work then you will know the hard truth. If you are being paid RM1500 you expect your salary to baloon up RM3k within 2 years? Not that its unheard of but please do take note that you are asking for roughly 40% increase every year. U think thats gonna happen? LOL. What are the chances?

Fyi, the company is more towards service provider. I've also told them during the interview session that I'm in no position to demand about my salary since I don't have any experience n much knowledge in O&G. I expect they pay me for my Bac. Degree and that 2.5k pop out into my mind.

I guess, I can consider myself not underpaid bcoz mechanical degree is all I hav wit me rite now.
