from my experience, dfi use lower vcore then the other.
mayb its tweaking abilities.

since the topic rite now is about dfi, i want to ask about my problem. my pc wont boot after i install my dfi mobo. the error code is 7F. i tried to reset the cmos, but it still wont work. i re-install the ram, but dont work also. do u have any idea whats wrong?

p/s: i oredi pm verdict (since he is dfi die hard fan?) to ask about this problem. but he didnt reply yet.

Check on your graphic card & swap ram if possible.

hmm, is it better to put the ram in the slot that is closer to the proc (the same colour ram slot)? before this, i'm using crosshair ii. in the manual, it say that the ram should be put in the slot closer to the proc. but, i cant find any info in the dfi manual.

Depend on board.
1. The 1st ram always in 1st slot.
2. Look on your manual. Which slots yield dual channel.

u can't expect things will work out rite away for u on a new board. tweak is d only way to get things stable again. it's a switch of platform so give yaself sometime to adjust.

mind to give more details on voltages & oc'ed setting?

bro, i think those are semi digital pwm only, d real digital pwm only found on ut series which we can't find any normal mosfet @ cpu pwm session. markettin gimmicks by dfi...

not a die hard dfi fans but i do hope i can help.

clear cmos d "ultimate way" > unplug all power connectors & extension card except gfx & set jumper to clear cmos position then leave it for few hours.

after that boot w/ 1 stick of ram, try every single slot until u managed to boot.

hahaha. doesnt matter die hard fan or not, as long as u can give the idea whats wrong with my pc, it should help. ok, i'll try the ultimate way to clear the cmos. but, do i really have to wait for few hours? its killing me.
