Hey guys. I saw athlon 2 x4 620 deneb core. Is it CACYC AC ? Is it can unlock the l3 6mb cache? Selling rm358. Worth to get? Sure can unlock?
*
QUOTE(InsideHW)
Depending on series, Athlon II X3 and X4 (620 and 630) can have AADAC or AACYC stepping mark codes. Third letter marks what core can be found beneath heat spreader. If third letter is “A” CPU is based on 65nm Agena core. If third letter is “C” then it is Deneb core, and if it is “D” then it is Propus core without L3 cache.

It all depends on ur luck bro, n try all ACC level too, current trend nowadays are that setting at ACC -2% doesn't work all the time, some chips need different values hmm.gif

get d 1600 if budget is tight, amd won't fully utilize d available b/width of d 2133 model. save up d $$$ for other stuffs, perhaps a better cooler will help to further improve d oc mileage. 965BE is meant for 4GHz & above...  tongue.gif

*give u some pressures...  laugh.gif
*
Agree with this, a 1600mhz is gud enuff ler, IIANM AMD chips doesn't really like too high ram speed, they like tighter timings more tongue.gif

hmm.. noob question here.. blush.gif  blush.gif  we usually check proc/system stability using Prime95 or OCCT..

is it ok if test it using AOD..?? since i look there is calculation, cpu/fpu test option in AOD.. hmm.gif
*
Well most of otai here would attest that AOD doesn't stress as much as Prime95 or OCCT..
Sometime when u do a stress test using AOD the program would give u a pass, but with the same setting u try on Prime95 it just won't pass sweat.gif
Soooo thats why we use them instead of AOD smile.gif

Biostar ta790GX 128M
Ecs A790GXM-A
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO

this one from rockrock list. dunno bout gay-bite. DFI too mahal liao~
*
The biostar is quite good but IIANM there's a newer model as replacement for it which uses better components etc.. hmm.gif
I would say stay away from ECS for OC coz their power circuity is still a bit sweat.gif

For Gigabyte how about: hmm.gif

GA-MA785GM-US2H RM329
GA-MA770-UD3 RM319

Which Mobo + DDR2/DDR3 rams?

I am not such a gamer for PC, so GPU won't really invest that much XD

budget? for ddr2, i'd go for 4gb crucial ballistix non tracer + dfi 790fxb. for ddr3, gigabyte 790fxt (no problem even under cold, who know u wanna torture it in near future  brows.gif ) + any ram which is capable of 1400 cas 6 or 1600~1700 cas 7. check w/ sir antonio whether his oem micron d9kpt still available. bestest bang for buck ram i must say... else go for kingmax value w/ d9xxx (forget ledi, kunta/babyi pls update).  smile.gif
