For those who are keen on buying Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs BD, check this out:
QUOTE Amazon is currently offering a $10 discount off the purchase of the Blu-ray of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Just input the promotional code "snowhite" (only one W) at checkout. If used on the combo edition with Blu-ray packaging, this brings the final price to $14.99; but it allegedly also works on the other different BD editions of the movie. The release of Lord of the Rings Trilogy BD was never officially announced by Warners. But then again there was never an official announcement for the delay either. All originated from a so-called "insider".
WBShop is still listing it for 3rd November release, and still accepting pre-orders. A Blu-ray.com member wrote to them and received a reply. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=23...&postcount=2207 We might still get the trilogy this November (not me though, only extended edition for me). |

I can't wait for the extended edition. Gonna grab this crippled version and watch first, then when extended edition is out, sell the crippled version 1/2 price and grab again.

If all of us are TRUE Lord of the Rings die-hard fans... then we should be buying all versions available and money shouldn't be an issue
Added on September 26, 2009, 11:19 amBut having said that, I'd still prefer both versions to be included on one release; done via seamless-branching mode. But then again, New Line execs would say: Why do we want to sell only three, when we can sell six? This post has been edited by fadthil: Sep 26 2009, 11:19 AM |

Since I have NOT watched LOTR yet, I will be dipping for the theatrical version first, and being the sucker that I am, will double-dip on the extended version when it comes out.
/bending over for Warner Bros. |

Wif de EE.. why would u want de theatrical edition is beyond me n for them to do tis is to make first adopters pay.. n pay again when de EE cums out.. Me.. I ll live wif my SD EE's until the bd version cums out.. Dirtrun |

QUOTE(fadthil @ Sep 26 2009, 12:41 PM) Yes, honestly. Have not watched any of it. It was during a period of my career when I had no time for movies. Never bothered with the DVDs after that. Not sure whether this is relevant to an earlier post or not ..... I just checked Jackie Chan's Police Story blu-ray here in HK and it had TrueHD 7.1 in Cantonese & Mandarin.
