Haha the ants at my home are already immune to ant powder. I'm using ant cystal bait type also now no effect, Normally i clear one area and place them there after a while ants appear i'll shift them to another, yesterday there were no sign of ants when I last checked, must be the mealworm that they were eating attracted the ants.

what you can do is, try using double sided tape and tape around your tank or watsoever. once the ant start to climb it will stick on the tape..

Actually i doubt the double side and vaseline trick will work...
I tried before with vaseline and put a ant in front of it, i see them walk through it without problem
Same goes to double side tape and water, they juz walk/swim to the tank...
They are so light especially those small red ants

hmm.. well.. thats the only available trick to eliminate the ants infestation.. apart from the powder goes..
i have no ants problem now after using that lil trick that alex described to me.. Wet the powder and mix it well ten add a dead crix with it.. they sure to come and take the bait to their nest... now i have non of those ants prob.. but precaution wise, i add vaseline to the tank of my pinheads.. but since then no more ants..

I got a little questions to ask here. Are female scorpions sure to be gravid and give birth eventually after mating?is it like tarantulas when the female sheds after mating, they leave the sperm thing with the old exoskeleton ?

Apparently for scorpions, they dun molt anymore once they reach adult unlike female tarantulas will keep molting. So,there is a high chance if the mating is successful when you can see the spermatophore left by the male. smile.gif

I never heard of a comfirm case where mating fail when spermatophore are visible but rafiq and alex's deathstalker did mated last year around may or something, they wait till dec still not yet pop so they tried to remate them but until now still, din pop yet
So it's plausible where a mating will fail eventhough spermatophore present
