Hi guys ,

was searching on some informations on this scorpion - Orthochirus Scrobiculosus Negebensis when i came across a pic of a newly molted specimen.

tot i share it here for thoses that did not seen a newly molt Orthochirus Scrobiculosus Negebensis before ...

somehow, no matter how many times i try to keep in my mind that this is a scorpion it still looks like a piece of coal with legs on it.

have to back of from the drugs i think.

Confirm dead, legs curl in ady, stinger also cut ady...
RM58, i got 3 dead adult afs in my freezer hmm.gif

Anw for the age part, kinda true wut, they do live up to 25years
Look at hadogenes sp, they took so darn long from 1instar to molt to 2instar

confirm dead and has been preserve with either formalin or alcohol. can see the discoloration on the joints due to immersion in such chemicals

Hoho Ryo,i never know its sting got chopped until I see your post.well,my first afs also got a missing sting and its from midvalley-pets wonderland.

Quite common in pet shop, they are not aware that they wont live long with their tail clipped....
They can sell it easily by telling customer they wont sting because it stinger have been removed
What to do, most newbie wanted to start with adult specimen and we dont have any captive breed adult afs aside those from Alex and maybe a few other hobbyist but none are for sale

Handsome betul those afs....
Very nice setup, love those ferns

Btw one of my balsasensis gave birth in communal enclosure with 5others tankmate just now
When open the lid, found 2 at the styrofoam background, a few on the substrate and one mati tersepit kat belakang background sad.gif
Tried removing her but she ran behind the background and hide
After tired of waiting for her to come out i realize the background can be remove lol
5 babies tat climbed down was separated into a incubator, just wanted to try incubating 1instar and the others with the mom (Around 12 of them)

Heterometrus Spinifer
Heterometrus Swammerdami
Heterometrus Madrapatensis

i google it, but then hardly find those that tell the different of it/
