The banana plug can buy even from giant or tesco. Should be about RM6-7

My hdmi output Yamaha 663 broke.Anyone got experience how much to repair it? My Avr already 8 year old. Or better buy new Yamaha rx-v377 for rm1k. I just want dts hd, no need atmos. And 3d ISO ,3d movies nothing to do with certain Avr to support it right?

Yeah, i think better buy new one after google all new features in latest avr with hdmi 2.0. 4k upscalling and others. Just want recommendation for which model, currently target v677 rm1.8k. Or any other place got better offer for this model? any other recommendation, 80% usage for movies,astro

667 is good enough. Unless you want something more high end.

How about marantz sr5008? Price difference rm200. I have no problem with wire network.

No idea about Marantz. If you ask me about AVR in HT Yamaha or denon will be better

I ll throw in my opinion :
I prefer Marantz or Pioneer - not so much sound wise [ to me, avrs only change de sonic structure so much - change spkrs, better..] but they last [ in my experience, Marantz/Pioneers make much more durable gear.. But then again, if u upgrd often, then not an issue .. I guess..

Currently just want add another pair surround speaker to complete 7.1.
Marantz sr 5008 just dont support hdmi 2.0 , yamaha 677 already support but don't think it make any difference for now. Hopefully still got stock at Desa tomorrow or any other place can give better price for Marantz sr 5008 ?

Unfortunately, durability is not a sought after feature - or maybe its difficult to gather info on tis as you need to keep/use for 'so long' first and tat takes 'time' .. Again my experience wif 3 diff models of Marantz avrs were very good - first 2 were upgrdd aftr about 4 year use .. de last 7002 is ard 6/7 years and l m still using it [No problems] ..

Just send it back to Yamaha service centre. I think it at the kelana jaya facing the LDP.
