is it true that waja 4g18 must use 20w-50 and above?? hmmm next week im going to service my car... anyone can reccomend me a good oil?
*
It is just a factory recommendation thus not a must to use 20w-50 and above.

I have heard/read numerous time that Fully Synthetic engine oil aint really going well with cars more than a few years old or have been using 20w-50 all this while. I would recommend you to choose 10w-40 Semi-Synthetic engine oil as it's not too thin or not too thick like 20w-50.

Brand wise , I'm using Castrol Magnatec + Tufoil treatement maybe you could try out yourself though. Brand like Q8 10w-40 and Eneos is well known for its performance aswell.

thanks for these infos
I never really worry about the engine oil, because it was mostly done by my dad's mechanic, but it is good to know what your car consume though

the seller said if 5 boxes and more is rm 28 per box. i asked if buy 10 can lower sumor anot, he didnt reply already. hmm the timing abit difficult, and since the price reduce not much, would u all rather get it yourself?

update: swk_sam wont be around, so if wanna do by this week, tmr is the only day to do if want help from sam to install. what say you guys?

sam what time will u be free to help us tmr?

hi guys, been using my waja for few years before handing over to my sis.. this afternoon her car stalled after a short journey out of the carpark... and is very likely to be the fuel pump (had two mechanics check on-site before the car is towed, and both confirmed is the infamous fuel pump failure), the car mileage is 120k ++ btw..

since this is the first time i had encountered this problem, and hopefully the last... would like to know from the sifus here how much it costs to replace the fuel pump, both ori and non-ori (oem??) .. much appreciate your feedback... thanks

majority ok with meet up tomorrow at puchong perdana shell station, 8pm? i cant do it next week as i'll be pretty bogged down.

not exactly soundproof, but something like that i guess. its supposed to block off wind sounds coming from doors at high speeds. also makes the door and trunk closing sound more solid smile.gif

when i first bought my 2nd hand waja, odometer was 83500km.

Now, it's reaching 88000km.

Other than my engine oil, alignment, balancing, what should u guys recommend me to service my waja? Anyway, i already changed my timing belt and steering rack at 83500km.

is that so? how about the rear passenger door, does it require a lot of pressure to close it? because normally rear door needs more pressure than front door to close it tightly

hmm good question. im just wondering now cos my rear doors sound alot more solid than my front doors while closing. scared after installing the tapes it'll be hard to close.

anyway i need to know those who confirm for the purchase and installation at puchong perdana shell station ASAP, cos need to let the seller know.

ErM... I just try it on my front door... After apply, you really need to close the door hard to get it closed... The door will be malfunction... And can't be opened properly at first... Because the sticker is too thick. 1 -2 days will be needed for that sticker to properly adapt to your door.
