if u think the road in front doesn't belong to her... do you care if everyday people dump rubbish/dog shit to ur house outside ur gate?? use ur brain lah!!! |

Usually anything outside the house boundary would be surrenderred to the local authority (except gated community) for maintenance purposes such as drains, roads and garden etc ... that's why we pay taxes for it
Legally anyone can't park outside their house boundary because anything outside their land is not theirs ... Therefore TS, this is more a give and take issue |

I think i will post the photo to explain the situation.  Looking at the picture and the 2 rubbisn bin,thats is her "right of way". No one should park in front of other peoples houses no matter what your excuse. Try imagine if you are partying inside your own house after you park your car in front of her gate and the old lady suffer a heart attack and somebody of the family car can't rush her to hospital becos of your friends car block her front gate. Who want to bear the responsibility? Yes old lady is wrong to stick the glue on your friend car windows but why your friend go park in front of her house in the first place, don't tell me there is no place to park car other then this old lady house. Your friend is like most people nowadays just takes things for granted and never ask permission,they think they own all the parking lot in front of other people house just for their own convenient. |

i assume you are renting the house...
2 options: 1) find new place and move out (maybe after your tenancy agreement ends). 2) live with it... no point quarrel with her... will just make ur life miserable. btw, even with the rubbish can, i think no problem driving the 2 cars into the compound because it's big... unless u want to park 3 cars  |

i'm also place somethings in front of my house to block people park in. I also put a note and write "Please use your brain to park your car!!!" to someone car before, but i didn't glue it la, just put at wiper there. My house is facing shop lot with restoran and Magnum , Toto in front. Many cars like to park in front me and go no way for long time.
I know that land in front me is not belong to me, but there is always un-educated people like to park in front of people's house and blocking people's car. If you only park there and waiting people, then it's ok for me, Or at least leave a contact so that i can contact you to remove the car in case you are in hurry and i'm in hurry too. But there is few times i waited and hon for 1hour + also no ppl come remove the car. I need to work need to drive need to eat also. Neither of you can obstruct public roads, the boundry of the house is usually up to the gate and beyond that the road/land is for public access.
Thankfully my neighbours don't do that and I'm fine if they park at the side or the back. My house is end lot so people tend to park at the side. legally, i think there's nothing much you can do except tolerate her. or u can call DBKL/MPPJ/etc. to pay her a visit and explain the rules and regulations to her as she thinks she owns the whole neighbourhood.

The law is clear public road are for you to enter your house. She cannot block the road...
IMHO your neighbours behaviour is harrasment. Why don't you lodge your own police report? Submit the pictures and ask your mates to lodge similar complaints. Hi TS, I think this is quite common problem/issue in housing area...at least that is what I think. When I move to a new place (few years ago - landed housing area), I decided to 'make a good relation" with the neighbours...
This is partly got to do with...possible problem that might occur in future...like, parking (like in your case), too much noises, etc... What I trying to say is...is a 'give and take' situation.... I not sure is it too late for you to try to make the relationship better... Personally if I am your neighbour...I will try to understand your situation (means let you park for a while...maybe that day you got some friends visits or etc). I will only hate it when...it is obvious someone just dont like to park in front of their gate (for convenient for them to drive in-out of their other car that parked inside the gate)...everyday. I'm not saying who is right or wrong here...just that, I feel that, we cant assume others people will think the same as we/me...especially like in your case, some feel is all right, some feel...is not all right... That is the 1st thing. On the second thing, try to talk to this old lady...the earlier the better...(although I feel...quite late for it...but heck, worth to try). |

The "battle" here is one-sided as TS aka "the victim" has all the avenue to tell his part of the story via LYN , and other members responsed based on it.
The so called "devil" old woman might not know this thread exist, and did not have the chance to tell her side of the story. And she definitely unable to stop TS from continue elaborating his predicament here. Maybe she was tortured by the car sound parking near her house almost every nite and then leaving at nearly midnite, disturbing her quiet night/rest. And she just snapped. Young people might love the noise and being active at night, but sometimes we must be in the shoes of the old people who only wants tranquility and calmness (at least every other night). from my experience quarrel with my old j!bai neighbours, here is what u can do: try to annoy polis peronda/town council AMAP (as much as possible) everytime she scold/put things on car/whatever sooner or later she will get into trouble from either of those parties. you can trap her by ticked up her anger and record down her hamkafuguai speech. |

When i was studyin in T college in SS15 last time i encounter the same neighbour. I park my car there for 5 mins while waiting for my friend to come down. My neighbour come out shout and curse my mom n dad.
What i did was during CNY and Christmas i drop her a personal homemade bangs wrapped in cow dung :-) |

if any of your friend no working when weekday, maybe ask ur friend hide inside ur house, work out with other friend who coming back when 4-6pm if her visitor car parked in front ur house, horn and take video, video record that her visitor coming out for remove the car... and take any photos that her visitor cars which blocked ur ways and submit to sarjan... i think the old lady good in "comfort" sarjan, show the sarjan and sure the old lady speechless... |

i would suggest you to put a CCTV (preferrably if hidden) outside your house that able to take the entire video of what's happening at outside the gate.

KPN - no need scare and worry when we hear abt KPN. cos KPN just like HQ for all the police branch. Just like our normal branch company will issue the letter from HQ to all other customer as well. my case last time was being complaint for being noisy in the middle of the nite, which my housemates and i did not do anything. we were sleeping that time, and didn't know which bugger whacked the wall so loud, disturbing ppl. it happened a few times though. the house only attach to another house on the right side, mean 2 house attach together... the young lady would call up the police and the police came at nite with M16 some more....we had no idea who did that but i was doing my work one nite, it came from her house......heard that the young lady got psychology problem...she knock the wall and accused us.... |

could be coincidence that i also staying in SS2...not too far from your place...opposite my house there's an vacant house unit...its been vacant for years dunno what the owner wants to do with it..from outside it look really old & like the whole house about to fall off...
its quite common for car owners to park their cars in front of the vacant house..during the day these ppl dun wanna pay parking, so they just park in the housing area...even after repeated summons they still park at housing area... so this dude thought he's really smart, brand new honda accord...to avoid getting a ticket for parking in housing area, he parked his car right in front of the vacant house..and so happened, the owner of the house came and wanted to drive in but couldn't...and the owner of honda accord cant be seen anywhere nearby... i didnt actually witness this but my dad told me, the owner of the vacant house actually went to buy a can of spray paint from hardware shop & paint a No Parking sign on the honda accord!!! but i dunno how the reaction of the honda owner when he saw his car with a new graffiti on another incident, at my in-law house in cheras, the house directly opposite ours had a party...and the visitors park right in front of our house, blocking the entrance...we didnt have any problems cos we're not going anywhere and it's quite a friendly neighborhood. until there's an emergency, my wife's grandfather passed out all of a sudden & we were hurrying him to the hospitals...we sounded the horn a couple of times but the visitor took their sweet time to remove the cars...so my bro-in-law sounded few more louder honks and almost came into a fight with the neighbor's visitors...until we explain the situation they thought we were those really 'kwai-lan' ppl...at end they apologize furiously...still we didnt have any problems with them... anyways...my point is, it is wrong to park at someone else's front door...BUT at the same time, surely we can tolerate a little bit...especially your neighbor who doesnt even owned a car... the house next door to mine...house a number of ppl cos its a rented house...needless to say the 2 parking bay inside the house is never enough to accommodate 4-5 cars...so they will park in between the houses...sometimes their car sticks out a little too much to my gate, but i never do anything la...my own family owns 5 cars...3 we park inside, the other 2, first come first serve with the neighbors... for those who think TS is very wrong...i'm sure you can be in his shoe for a little bit... to me, TS is wrong, but the lady is also a little bit too much...unless of course there are other things which TS did to irritate the hell out of the lady he forgot to tell us... if its me...i will be checking out the Star classifieds...new house to rent if you cant fight them..leave them... |

You can go to National Land Council to look for the investigate the owner of the unit. But I doubt the owner will dismiss the tenancy agreement with the "Old woman" because she is a real long-term tenant compare to youngsters like you. Just my 2 cents and hope this can help you =) |

Once, I parked my car in my own porch. Someone conveniently parked outside my gate blocking my entrance and happily went shopping for hours!!!! lol....i spent about an hour reading this thread. very very good story line la. i think can make nice short movie la.
next time i'm in the area, i'll look out for the house with a long line of potted plants. i might be lucky enough to spot the old lady inside. : DTS...u should do an open bbq for us, we'll come to celebrate with the old lady |

After reading all the posts I feel that she is someone who likes to find fault from others -- don't think she will one day wake up and just "peace" with you and your housemates
Ignoring her will stop any problems for the time being but even after MBPJ wanted to confiscate her potted plants she also wanted to lodge a police report, omg, never ending story... If the police invite you to balai again I guess it's time to really finish her off kao kao XD (My bf wants to drive to Chow Yang to see the auntie, ) |

lol....i drove past the road today with my wife...but we were on the lookout for a drivewy with a whole string of potted plants. didn't find one la...only one house with a cement divider and a few plants.
i wanted to show my wife the old lady... |

erm..... actually tis type of lady cause alot of problem 1.... 1st, dun try to argue wit her bcause tis type of old lady will sure wan to win in any argument although she is wrong.... so, wat u can do is, do back the same thing as she did bfr... if her frens try to park infront of ur gate, stick the paper wit glue on her fren's car.... then after tat, if she make any polis report, can tell the police tat tis is wat she did to ur fren's car, and ask back y no any action bout her job???, then y about u all..... if police tell u bcause of the TS, then u should tell them tat u wil try to get a TS title or know any TS then u can throw stone and break her house window lo....
2nd, try to put rubbish bin in front of ur house too like wat she did.... erm.... another way is,try to steal the rubbish bin at midnight and sell it to the plastic collector.... see how much rubbish bin she afford to buy... ^ ^ U know the land outside her house is belong to government??? u know how much is the land slightly bigger than the land outside her house??? it cost more than 3 hundred thousand..... cause my dad try to buy the land in front of my house in some kampung area in negeri sembilan also tat expensive dy.... and moreover is just 99 years land... but end up cancel the plan to get the land bcause i told my dad tat no use to buy a land tat small jus to gated the compound to b urs, rather to get other useful land wit tat money....^ ^ so if she said the land belong to her, ask her to gate it... see whether she dare to do it or not.... haha.. |
