Make sure you download & install NPS (New PC Studio) ver 1.4 (New_PC_Studio_1.4.0.IK1) from phone software update page:
http://my.samsungmobile.com/supports/softw...eOtherUpdate.do

This morning I use NPS 1.2, also cannot do upgrade, worst case is NPS cannot do selfupgrade, need to download the new one.

I don't know , i think there is a problem with the windows , cause the update downloads fine , and when it wants to start the installation it fails....

I am using windows vista sp1 , for some unknown reason i also have problem upgrading to sp2 , it doesn't do it for me > i thought since i don't have sp2 the problem is caused ?

finally dle-ed the latest NPS from samsung website..now updating my phone.hope it will turn out rite

i just realized my NPS is not latest version. Now i installed the latest version 1.4 NPS and im trying to update again. See how dulu

the interface abit diff from wad we saw from youtube. maybe malaysia version of wm6.5 is diff from europe version.

I saw some people reporting the same issue in the Modaco forum , there seem to be a problem with windows vista ,
somebody recommended that try compatibility mode to start NPS , set compatibility mode to windows xp , I am gona try it tonight will let you guys know if it solves the problem.


meanwhile did anyone here did the upgrade on windows vista ? (Sp1 or Sp2 please specify)

the update through nps is around 400mb i think.currenty downloading it.i have vista sp2 so ill try n see if it work. lets hope it does

can you tell us what's included with the new winmo. and what about the ui.

i tried downloading the nps for several times already. always hang after reaching certain percent of download. aiyo, downloaded at office but forgot to bring home. it took less than a minute only to download at office. i guess i'll do it tomorrow.

just a question, lets say that i successfully downloaded the file but it cant update.then i go into compatibility mode.do i have to download the whole file again? even if its the same file? can i update it by selecting the saved file in our computer? i do not want to go through that process again.slow internet really sucks. oh ya, what percent of the download did it get stuck on??
