sighs.. there's too many pages for me to search for it so i apologise if anyone's posted about this before. My 5800's had this problem where i can't unlock it and so it's either always locked or always on (in this case, the battery dies damn fast). Another thing is that the screen shows vertical colourful lines that flash until my phone dies. It can't stay on for longer than about a minute... =/ Sent for repairs and they changed the screen but no difference. I've googled it and they say maybe it's loose battery connecters. What do you guys think?
*
try turn off ur phone n do hard reset
green button + red button + camera button and power on button
if the problem still there after hard reset then it's hardware prob n go to NCC for repair

Why change housing? Got lots of scratches?
How long time needed for them to change all the housing?

Signed, I don't care much about the homescreen, IMO the n97 widgets looks too messy for my likings, but the kinetic scrolling in menu and contacts is a must, come on, kinetic scrolling is such an essential for touch screen device

did my firmware upgrade to V31 via NSU.

steps taken...
1. back up my data
2. off my 5800
3. remove my MS
4. start HP and do a soft reset. I did not do this when i bought my tube.
5. then *#0000#
6. then it just update and reboot.
7. after that, put back my MS and somehow, some of my apps missing.. so just install back.

So far, I can see speed improvement. The rest still in testing. :>

BTW, I'm having a black tube.

they send becoz they encountered problem/s with their 5800, but if u dunt hv, no need. unless u js curious and wanna let the Service Center check it for u.
as for me, i didnt send coz i didnt encountered those problem/s except light leakage issue which is not my concern. btw, mine is the 1st batch.
