garmin  is a one time paid licence..than you can use the gps for free everytime..but, if ur using a-gps,it will cost you only about 10cents per lock..more lock, do the math..but imho, its quite cheap

@riazor : what bill? it's supposed to A-GPS (not sure if the init part of garmin uses internet connection, if not wrong Nokia Maps used to use it, that's why we see the icon below our line bar stating that internet connection is being used.

U try on garmin, then go back to home screen. Supposedly the internet conenction icon will not appear.

yah not too bad lah .. the cost .. no point when u r trying to search for something and you try to be cheap and using the i-gps will have to wait 10min-15min for a lock... wasting too much time. rather pay 0.10 and get it in seconds... mine locks is less than 5sec most of time..

no such thing. Not once lock it wont use a-gps. If u look at the garmin indicator immediate u received the gps location it already charge u 10cent. Whether u get a lock from the satelitte is another question. Sometimes it will request a few times if too long it cant lock. Sometimes no need to lost satelitte for it to relock. Sometimes signal weak also it will request a-gps = another 10cent.

To know how garmin charge you enable always ask. You notice how often the garmin prompt u whether to use a-gps or not

nope usually from point A to point B can charge up to 30cent or 60cent.  So i use always ask. When it prompt for a-gps i just say No. So it only charge me One time 10cent.

yes, set alwayz ask lo...if u dun mind payin for fast lock-on, then press yes when it ask...if not u can juz press no for longer wait to lock-on...IMO its good for those who care abt the 10cents XD
recalculating wont charge la ._. relock-on will charge...if u set to alwayz ask then u will know when will it charge, it will ask u b4 using AGPS

when the navigator says recalculating then it'll lock again n eat  up ur credit
