carlo is doing a good job right now and its impossible to retain GH as our coach last season. we should be grateful that carlo is doing a good job as coach right now. look at liverpool, almost the same squad as last season, but the coach couldnt fix one missing player.

no mate

they can never replace Alonso the "human red card machine". he managed to get 5 players sent off last year including Lampard!

If we successfully appeal for the delay of transfer ban, i think CA will sign in january. He havent make any signing of his own i believe. ZHIRKOV, MATIC, TURNBULL and STURRIDGE deal are from last season GH times. But signing top player in january is very rare coz most of them is already cup tied. But more youngster ?? Dont we have enuff already hmm.gif

But i am really happy with our squad now and everybody seem happy with their roles, at least no player complaining at the media. We might have problem with J.COLE soon if he does not play more often. He contract is expiring next season if not wrong and he want to get back to ENGLAND squad for the world cup. I think CHELSEA already entering contract talk with him but he have not sign yet .He might leave us soon. cry.gif

its been a trend with us lately..gokhan tore, jan sebek, daniel sturridge. yep we have quite a number of them..but i believe some have moved on? frank nouble for example ditched us and went to west ham. so arnesen might have a couple of young players in his sights to continue our 'new' policy. ehh carletto publicly backed him already, saying he wants joey to stay. don't worry rclxm9.gif

retrosnare, i think they have what it takes..we need to be on our toes when we face them. they've spent extravagant amounts, but on proven targets. so they skip the crappy acclimatisation part which is a huge advantage.

Joe cole's able to cover a lot of positions in midfield once he gets back in REAL action. All over the midfield, right, left, centre since he's got great speed and skills. All he needs is some time to rediscover his form and what he had lost since the injury. Sturridge will get into action for games like league cup/fa cup while Zhirkov will provide backup for the position on the left. Are we going to sign a new striker? Let's say aguero. But Drogba+Anelka combination will last for at least a few more years and kalou is standing behind to replace one of them tongue.gif

This weekend will be a very tough match for us(manutd)...playing at anfield and form doesn't really count in big games(yours may not be good but ours are neither too good either)...instead it'll be a very good chance for liverpool to bounce back..may the better team win  smile.gif

Our strong flying LB is great!!! rclxm9.gif

Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole expects to be fit for Saturday's game against Blackburn Rovers after picking up a knock against Atletico Madrid.

Cole, who created Salomon Kalou's opening goal in the 4-0 UEFA Champions League win on Wednesday night, was replaced 15 minutes from time.

The England international suffered a gash to his leg in a heavy challenge, but the in-form Cole has shrugged off concerns that he may miss Blackburn's visit in the Premier League.

"Hopefully I'll be fine," Cole told Sky Sports News. "I've just got a little gash on my leg, but I'll be fine."

Meanwhile, Cole is hoping to cap this season by winning a major trophy, but acknowledged the battle to secure silverware is as fierce as ever.

He added: "Some players would like to win the Champions League and some would like to win the Premiership.

"For me, to win every competition is the main thing, but to win any trophy at the end of the season is always a bonus because it is getting tougher and tougher."

Chelsea will welcome back Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba against Blackburn.

Drogba was suspended for their midweek Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.

But Jose Bosingwa (knee), and Yury Zhirkov (knee) are out while midfielder John Mikel Obi and defender Alex are not deemed match fit after recovering from injury.
