well... as u all can search in the net.. the new batch casing is curve... curve it will not easy to crack.. if u all have the 1st batch.. u all can try to sand it using electronic drill....

as for keyboard... there no hope.. either u clean it and reallign the sticker connector (metal Plate) or send back to warranty..

Well i dunno y now x1 thorus rise until 1.8k new... with only 1 year warranty... (they already cancel 2 year warranty issue)

but as for AP (Gemini) which still giv 2 year warranty.... it ia 2 year warranty to hard ware... mean i get 2 year warranty for keyboard problem.. so i dun have to worry... jus have to worry crackin casing... but so far i drop my phone on the road twice.. no crack.. but alot dent...

I don't understand one thing about EnergyROM.. it seems pretty famous out there that it has updates every week but then.. how you guys with this ROM managed to overcome the SMS blank screen thingy?

I tried installing LEO SMS CLIENT.. it couldnt fix it.. I'm really interested in using this ROM... but haih..

Try not to use the Leo sms client. I alawys use back the default windows sms system. Works better for me.

Cestar does not works as well .

if i didnt use it.. it wouldn't even open the sms composer page.. but only showed blank page..

The phone coming from ap or ori companies are from the same factory. The only different thing is the warranty coverage. You gotta decide which one you want to go for. When I bought mine, throus was having a 1+1 warranty, but now I heard that they only give 1 year warranty compared to 2 yrs from AP companies. As for AP companies they don't cover everything. Check it out with the others as I'm not very familiar with AP companies.

hey guys.. i'm facing a problem now.. its about using my handsfree.. have u guys tried to listen to music with cooked ROM? Mine couldnt detect the headset also, there's no settings to set it.. izzit hardware problem or ROM?

i have no problem with any ROM before. probably is ur hardware problem.

try to flash back to stock rom to see whether ur handsfree is working not. if u suspect is custom rom problem .

and have u check ur handsfree is working on other phone?

ohh my.. recently took my touch pro and flash a proper rom. TP's rom is so mature compare to X1. i can see n feel 50% more faster than xperia's rom.

im using TAEL's LEO rom on tp. TP only got VGA (helps to have better speed n response, less to render).. but good things is HTC touch pro got much more better driver than X1 do. It knows how to render properly. i feel like downgrade to touch pro for a while until i get frustrated with absent of 3.5mm jack and bulkier device.

touch pro kb is better feel n solid to use. but not so practical. probably i used to x1 kb currently. touch pro got lousier battery performance too. practicality i would say touch pro win. but design and spec-wise, xperia is a clear winner straight, more future proof.

X2 delayed to end of january in europe. dun noe when msia will get. but since it owes delay.. tat mean it will follow X1's trail, quite a bad quality device again and keep delay n delay until acceptable form only.

Satio? lots of problem n sluggish is the only comment so far i heard. Aino fix is almost out or mayb out already for those problem. Satio i got no news for it yet. but tons of complain about it. i dun recommend those 2 devices as 12MP camera is juz a fake. those who know well enough about camera exactly knows that 12MP quality from satio is going to be terrible. it is so big and u can see lots of noise and blur. but only noticeable for those indulge with good quality photo.

lol... from 3.2MP onwards.. i dont really mind about 5mp, 8mp, 12mp... i mean, why want it to be so high? wanna develop it into poster? a decent 3.2MP picture is enough for me.. of cos with nice lighting in the picture.. maybe 5mp is more than enough.. but 8? 12? It's just another marketing tactic

yeah. agreed. 3.2mpix is enough already. they should concentrate on building better ccd sensors and better lenses. the quality of photos taken by these 5mp 12mp 8mp phone cameras are no where near a normal 3mpix or even a 2mpx compact camera.

ermm guys.. do u know where to download the HTC sense cab alone? I dont know why I cant use it with Valkyrie's ROM... this ROM is running superbly .. but i want that HTC sense thingy..

huh? r u using firestorm valkyrie rom? it shud be cooked in the rom already.

start->settings->today->2nd tab->htc sense . enable it..
