flash, im planning to purchase the f58.. alien gun, u mentioned 70-200 + raynox ok kan?.. but curious, i think this question ask before adi.. if u flash, wont the bugs terkejut and then fly away?

alien gun is home made stuff to be paired with a flash .. not 70-200 + raynox .. and you cannot use 70-200 with raynox because raynox only support up to 67mm while 70-200 has 77mm .. damn weird if using 70-200 with raynox .. ..

about your last question, that why u need alien gun .. it will soften the flash and also give a good coverage of light ... ..

55-200 or 70-210 aka beercan combine wit raynox
they dont fly...thats y must sabar

get a used 55-200...price shud be 400~500 only...
if u can afford a 70200G, might as well buy SP90 liao..(for macro)
If got more money to spend, u can try

Sigma 150mm f/2.8 or Sigma 105mm f/2.8..

it gives better MFD which is easier for bug shot so u dont scare them:)
Tamron 90m f/2.8 at 1:1 MFD = 29cm
Sigma 105mm f/2.8 at 1:1 MFD = 31cm
Sigma 150mm f/2.8 at 1:1 MFD = 38cm
Sigma 180mm f/3.5 at 1:1 MFD = 46 cm

In simple non-technical terms, can just say the color reproduction is not vivid (i.e. quite pale) even if you bump up the saturation to the max. So, anything lens that touches near 300mm length it's best to invest in an APO, otherwise the lens should just stay in the dry box.
