lol, life is so short yet interesting. just ignore that remark.

i have been using royal mail for the past 10 years. so far so good *touches wood*. the delay is due to the 'efficiency' of our local postal services. i used to wait for about a month before receiving my parcel from uk.

nope...from triads...first time, my uk fren commented it is reliable...

checked with POS & their international mailing unit, they sd hvnt received despite later batch has reached them .... they hv sent enquiy to Royal mail...

I used Royal Mail before, waiting for a package which was supposed to receive it few days ago, however, the retailer told me it is lost. They sended another one now. They told me it's rare that they lost the package / POS Malaysia lost it.

Also, there is a UK delivery company caled Parcel Force, a subsidiary of Royal Mail. Never ever use their service. I "kena" them once. Just google "Parcel Force reviews" and you'll see tons of bad negative reviews and 1 star rating. They are known as " Parcel Farce " and even have a Parcelforcesucks website to complain their extremely lousy service.

Bad experience I encountered are:

#1 Downgraded my priority delivery to economy delivery - without informing me or refunded back my money (why should I pay priority price to enjoy economy service?)

#2 Gave tracking number - useless one - why on earth give me a number but never bother to update the status? I totally have no idea what is going on - the status is always the same - still at the sender's post office. Even until now.

#3 Extreme delay - I paid for priority service - 1-2 days but I only got it after 3 weeks.

#4 I wrote to them to ask about my parcel status - write 10 e-mails only got 1 reply. And that reply told me, I've no rights to ask. Only the Sender can ask. wtf??? worst customer service ever.

#5 Call their international number - not valid one - trick ppl to believe someone would pick up your calls.

#6 Gave confusing tracking number - gave my tracking number to them, and they gave me another tracking number without any reason. And that new tracking number also have no updates as well. ????

#7 Causes me anxiety, confusion, no idea what is going on, worried. Seeing so many stories like, lost parcel, stolen goods, poor customer service, broken goods, no compensation, slow like snail delivery..

Better ask your UK retailer what service are they using - if they use Parcel Force, huh, better think twice!!!

thanks bro. the retailer used royal mail, and i can track the status in their website BUT , the status is like...never change- parcel out on 6/7/ to be delivery in malaysia..blabla...

already emailed seller to lodge an enquiry with RM, what i am afraid is my items been held by custome or even "swallow" by some middle party...

It always shows the same status because when it's been despatched to M'sia, it's in hand of our local courier service, i.e. who else but Pos Malaysia, which RM is unable to track precisely too. This is the disadvantage of using RM compared to DHL, etc. Normally it takes only 3-4 business days for your parcel to reach M'sian shore, after that it's sitting somewhere here in our lovely country...

i once encountered our beloved postal services sitting on my parcel for 1 month. then a notice came requesting me to pick-up the parcel at some 'ulu' area. when asked why the delay, he just told me,'oh, lupa!'.

bro, normally when the status of something like 'parcel out on 6/7/ to be delivery in malaysia' appear when u check the RM website, means the parcel has reached Malaysia and it shud only take 4-5 working days before it reaches u..

there is a way of tracking ur parcel bro..u have to call the Poslaju branch in KLIA...because every parcel which comes by flight will reach that post office first because the custom department is also there...jz call this number: 03-87871122...then tell them u have a parcel from UK, after that give them the Royal Mail tracking number which ur Uk retailer has provided u..they will be able to track that particular parcel for u...i have tried few times before d...

thanks bro, thats the number i called and they told me the whole bag which includes my parcel was not sent to them despite sysyem shown sent off on 8/7, even the later batch of mails reached them from UK, they told me they have sent an enquiry note to UK pending their reply...

hmm...the last i encountered such problem was with usps, waited almost a month for my item to reach my doorstep, i was pretty nervous that time, and post office even gave me the pos laju despatch officer's hp no. for me to arrange the delivery time.

hope to receive my FP soon...

i just got my 2 parcels this afternoon. released by custom on 22 july but only delivered to me on 26 july.

no....no news from seller after e mail sent on 23/7, called KLIA internatiol mailing yesterday, they are also pending reply from Royal mail, according to them, the whole bag which consist of my FP was not sent to them which contrast with system info...

, i have paid on behalf of my frens...if really items missing...
