is the fred perry at klcc authentic???
*
Of course it's authentic, it's a official flagship store.

I went there today, wasn't impressed with what they carry.

They don't carry Made in England / Made in Japan stuffs, all are Made in China.

They also don't carry SLIM FIT M3600 (which Pavillion TANG's have)! sad.gif

They only have limited choices of regular cuts, one polo cost about RM 329 (more expensive than TANG's).

A jacket cost around RM 600.

I haven't checked out their shoes and bags.

No matter what, I still feel the store can't compare with HongKong's Fred Perry stores, which carries more variety and better choices. smile.gif

Iz it slightly cheaper in HK? Im going to HK in May..
*
It's cheaper in Hong Kong, they have shops at Harbour City & Time Square. You can check out all their location @
http://www.fredperry.com/shops/. I was there last XMas.

Although the shop is of smaller size compared to KLCC, but they stock more choices and variaties (Ironic isn't it).

i think that M120 (MIJ) not M12...because all M12 only 2 button...
*
You're right. Because the site selling it states it's a M12.. but it's Made In Japan so must be M120

You're a pro man! smile.gif

I think the dark blue one looks the best smile.gif

Very nice collection of FP you have thumbup.gif

Is it true that MIJ clothes are sold in UK and MIE clothes are sold in Japan?

hey guys,

wanna ask u about the sizing of FP Polos...

I've a M3600 made in china slim fit polo size M which fits my body nicely.

I'm going to buy a M120 made in japan slim fit polo online, but couldn't decide on the size. I heard made in japan cutting is much slimmer and much shorter (dunno compared to the other slim fit or regular fit), and might require sizing up one size (e.g. to size L).

What is your experience in buying made in japan slim fit polos? Is it true to need to up one size?

Another question is, does M12 made in england have slim fit? if got slim fit, how is the sizing compared to M3600 or M120?

Thank you for your kind advice in advance! smile.gif

thanks bro.. yeah, i have ordered a slim fit FP xs & M120 S for my wife, not M120, i ordered M120 L size for myself... it is also not easy to get FP women online...

cant wait to receive my new FP  rclxms.gif

Hey @bearbearhong

Hmm.. I'm like you, I wear size M custom fit / slim fit RL polo..

However, I brought a MIJ M120 polo in size M as well from UK.. aiks, I'm worried. unsure.gif

My item only arrives next month.. only then I can tell if it's ok..

The reason I brought in size M is because I saw this @ site:

http://www.baggamenswear.co.uk/product/T-S...ns&siteid=30859

"Fred Perry Limited edition Japanese polo

100% Magenta pique cotton.

Contemporary slim fit. Made in Japan.
Size Guide: Our model is 6ft 1tall (1.85 M). He has a 42 Chest (107 cm) and a 34 waist. (86cm). He is wearing a size L in this product"

If he've chest size 42 and can wear size L, so this could mean, chest size 40 can wear M and chest size 38 can wear S.

I'm chest size 38, so I could wear size S or above. So to be safe I choose one size above which is M. This was my reasoning..

Although the pictures shows that the sleeves looks tight on him, I think it's ok for me as my arms ain't as big as his... so the sleeves might not be tight..

Haih.. how I wish I could try on a MIJ polo here in Malaysia, too bad Fred Perry KLCC / TANG's doesn't have it. sad.gif

the MIJ M120 size M should be alright for you. remember, for any MIJ FP, be it M120 or Fxxx, you should always size up one. i wear XS for MIE, MIP and MIC, so for MIJ, i size up one to S. anyway, the smallest size for MIJ is S. it will be slightly tighter around the arm but i am fine with it.

btw, FP KLCC just brought in MIJ Fxxxx last 3 days. limited stock with limited size. go check it out. retail from RM399 to RM429.
*
Thanks bro..

I've a MIC 3600 which I wear size M...

So.. this means I should get size L??

Anyway, worst come to worst I'll just sell it off in LYN if it's too small

honestly, I would have brought that fake if I never seen the originals ones before sad.gif

the design of the fake looked quite close to the originals one

but there are some obvious differences

the labels are totally different - the fake one has a normal polo label (laurel at left) while the original one have the laurel in the middle. the Stussy label is black on the fake while is purple on the originals

the tags - the fake one has normal tags. the original ones has tags that is solely for FP x Stussy line

I brought the MIJ polo online also based on the measurements given on this site:

http://blog.shopfarinellis.com/2009/05/jus...apan-polos.html

I then measured my own MIC 3600 medium size and checked against the MIJ 120 medium size shown @ the site, and I find it's roughly the same.

i did mention previously than MIC M3600 is a slim fit, and both MIJ 120 and MIC M3600 are almost identical in sizing/cutting. thus if you wear M3600 size M, MIJ M120 size M should fit you.

btw, you did purchase the MIJ M120 from this site?
*
nope.. i brought it @ Zee & Co...

i use it as size reference onli..

mosy fred perry bags have the laurel logo at the lower right side

http://www.fredperry.com/accessories/men/

the bag u posted has the word " Fred Perry " in front and no laurel logo, so it seems odd..
